Prior to forming Equilibrium Engineers LLC, he served as Associate/ Structural Project Manager for KPFF Consulting Engineers in Portland, Oregon. While at KPFF, he was in direct charge of a number of the firm s most significant projects. Before joining KPFF in 1995, Ed was a project engineer on school and hospital projects for CYS and Associates in Sacramento, California. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering. He is a registered Civil and Structural Engineer in Oregon, Washington, California, with the ability to obtain registrations in most other states through reciprocity. He is Past Allied Member Director of the AIA Portland, has been an Adjunct Faculty Member at Portland State University and currently serves as Vice President of the Structural Engineers Association of Oregon.
