EXECUTIVE SUMMARY While Winson Group incorporating Signet and insignia is a business to business group of companies the Winson Groups action plan has identified that Signet s retail range meets the reporting criteria as per the Australian Packaging Covenant guidelines. The action plan will assist Winson Group in continuing to meet our obligations under the Australian Packaging Covenant and Sustainable Packaging Guidelines to drive continuous improvement of our processes and packaging products into the retail sector while optimising resources to reduce environmental impact with out compromising quality and safety Our commitment will focus us on the effective review of consumer packaging against the new packaging guidelines within suitable time lines. Using materials more efficiently, promoting recycling awareness to ensuring that the bi-products from manufacture and daily business practice are reduced, therefore assisting in the preservation of our environment.
