ACCESS MANAGEMENT WEB Access Management Web is an innovative solution from Zucchetti that combines the features of access control with the practical convenience of web systems. The software can be viewed like any web page and can be monitored in real time using an Internet browser with any type of connection from any workstation. The ID and Password guarantee the right security and control of data residing on the database on a dedicated server. Together with the Zucchetti control terminals the software enables entry monitoring of employees, visitors and vehicles at company access points whether they are doors, gates, bars or turnstiles. Easy to configure and intuitive to use, the programme perfectly answers the company s needs because it satisfies all criteria for security and automation needed for an access control system. Access Management Web, with terminals, is able to acquire, validate and monitor transit in real time according to rules and access authorization, (time brackets and days of the week, anti-pass back control, PIN checks, etc.) configured in the database. The system is perfectly compatible and can be integrated with all Zucchetti presence recording solutions, with many important software and hardware benefits. For instance, with a single badge the user is recognised by all terminals installed for presence recording and access control.

Timestamp acquisition Timestamps are acquired as follows: manual downloading of timestamps from one or more recorders; automatic scheduled downloading of timestamps; on-line downloading (in real time) of timestamps. Access method management There are three different ways to choose from for managing access points: on-line: active monitoring of access points in real time. Access rights and access white lists are directly and univocally controlled by the application. Transit data is recorded directly by the software. off-line: passive monitoring of access points. Communication method Communication between the management software and control terminals is through different types of connections: RS232, RS485, Modem (analogue phone line, GSM dual band, ISDN), LAN. The several solutions for connectivity depend on the different needs and growth of the company and deal with problems linked to logistic/geographic constraints. For instance, the connection of terminals via LAN enables managing access control from any PC on the company network thereby eliminating all physical and structural problems related to fixed cabling.
