TerraMar Networks has teamed up with TGS. TGS is now the official distributor of TerraMar Networks products in the aid sector. As part of our partnership with TerraMar, we intend to offer quality hardware and easy to use software as a tool for improving your fleet management.
WHAT DO THE TOOL AND SOFTWARE OFFER The starting point is the fleet log: a module within the proprietary software system. This allows all vehicles in a fleet to be profiled, recording information such as registration, chassis number and service intervals. It is designed to facilitate efficient maintenance planning, with reports and reminder alerts when service is due, minimising the risk of vehicle breakdown Software available in English and French versions. Spanish version is in working progress Manage as many assets as you want. These can either be tracked (hardware fitted) or untracked.

HOW DOES IT WORK A tracking box (hardware) is fitted on your asset. SATELLITE OR CELLULAR NETWORK Satellite or cellular network: The device gathers information such as its position, speed, heading and other data using GPS, sensors and other accessories. TRACKING HARDWARE INSTALLED ON ASSET The data is transmitted to the tracpoint servers over cellular or satellite network. CUSTOMER PC CUSTOMER SMART PHONE INTERNET SECURE SERVERS The tracpoint server installation is kept at a secure managed facility with 100% network uptime guarantee. CUSTOMER LAPTOP CUSTOMER TABLET FIREWALL A firewall is there to protect all the data. Our servers store and process the data and make it available through the tracpoint web application and other channels.
HARDWARE OPTIONS
You are in a country that has a reliable GSM network coverage. GSM UNIT You can follow the history of the asset movements by receiving an update every 2 minutes HYBRID UNIT You work in remote areas. Once you lose the GSM network, the unit switches automatically to the satellite network. You can establish the location of your asset. For a non-permanent installation i.e. rental car in an area with GSM coverage. This unit can simply be plugged into the cigarette lighter. TRACPOINT QUICK FIT
FLEET INSURANCE TGS is also in direct partnership with Clements Worldwide insurance. Clements may provide worldwide insurance cover for your fleet. You may select any of the various modules which are available. These include physical damage, excess liability, political violence, personal accident and 100% duty coverage. Together with Clements insurance, TGS may offer you an improved discounted premium rate. These discounts will be applicable if you choose to train your drivers, select a TerraMar Networks tracking device and include anti-theft accessories.
