Job description To support the University s Market Research function in providing market information and analysis, in particular to provide analysis and reporting of key national surveys such as the National Students Survey (NSS) and the Destination of Leavers of Higher Education (DLHE); analysis of application, enrolment and current student data to help inform University decision making; assist with the University wide module feedback through processing module evaluation forms and assisting with reporting where required. The Post is responsible to the Senior Market Analyst and ultimately to the Head of Market Research Office. Responsibilities To support the Senior Market Analyst with the analysis and reporting of National Student Survey (NSS) data for Academic Schools and other support services within the University. To support the Senior Market Analyst with the analysis and reporting of Destination of Leavers of Higher Education (DLHE) data to the Careers and Employability Centre, Academic Schools and other support services within the University. To support the Student Experience Manager with data inputting, analysis and reporting of University wide module evaluations. To support the work of the University in analysis of data related to government Performance Indicators, rankings and league tables from a marketing perspective. To assist with internal data enquiries by mining into application, enrolment and current student data, as directed by the Senior Market Analyst. To support where necessary with providing data and competitor analysis for new programme development requests. Any other duties as directed by the line manager.

Salary & benefits This post is offered on a continuing basis. The appointment is Grade 5 and the salary range for this grade is 18,549-20,781 per annum. Holiday entitlement Pension Contribution pay Relocation 25 days per annum, in addition to 13 days public and university holidays. Eligible staff are offered a defined benefit pension with the Aston University Pension Scheme. The University s Performance Development and Reward Scheme provides for salary enhancement for staff who are considered to be performing at an exceptional level on a consistent basis.
