Welcome We are very pleased to welcome you in Rome again! This year we will give the usual emphasis to live cases. We will demonstrate what we mean for optimal implantation of a drug eluting stent. Ultimately we believe that this strategy will further improve the safety and performance of these devices. Live demonstrations will include treatment of adult valvular heart disease, structural heart disease and selected peripheral interventions. The meeting maintains its format with State of the Art lectures given by experts in the field. Lunch and evening symposia fulfil this target. This year we have again live transmission on Saturday morning in order to maintain a well-balanced distribution of live cases throughout the entire meeting. More emphasis and expansion are given to those sessions in which attendees can present and discuss cases. Once again the Meeting will take place in Rome, but in a new location: the Ergife Palace Hotel. It combines a confortable accommodation solution with a large and efficient Congress Centre.
