PROGRAMME 3 Dear Colleagues, Welcome to our 5th Theme Visit related to the Integrated Media Production Strategies (IMPS) strategic programme. Initiated by the Technology & Innovation department of the EBU, IMPS is a cross-disciplinary project involving EUROVISION ACADEMY and EBU News. It aims to provide a roadmap to help EBU Members move towards more integrated approaches to producing media content in the News and Sports area. One of the great values of IMPS is its transversal approach: the programme concentrates on the change management, organizational, editorial and technical issues surrounding the transition to a cross platform, cross media production. The Theme Visit to SWR is aiming at: Learning from key SWR professionals and understand the broadcaster s vision and strategy that have driven the project. Understanding the challenges faced by SWR when developing their new production system and the solutions they have chosen. Sharing and discussing with SWR and European colleagues, as well as taking part in an open dialogue between engineers and journalists. We hope that these two days will prove fruitful for you and for your organization. Hélène Rauby-Matta Business Development Manager, EUROVISION ACADEMY
