1 Go to the ASHRAE website Click on the member area login button. Type in your chapter ID and password; chapter ID is your ASHRAE Society membership number. The password is eggplant, if you have not logged in already and changed the generic password. Page 1 of 8

2 If you are successful in the login, the following screen shows up. Guest s can bypass this operation and go straight to the next step. The next step is to click on the Calendar of Events link under the Click Links list to the left of the page. There is also a Click Here to Register button on the Home Page in the meeting description text that will send you to the correct page. Use the cursor to highlight the date, and click to get to the meeting/event information page. Page 2 of 8

3 Click on the Register Now button to the right of the meeting to set up to register. The website pages follow the registration process with the arrow bar at the top of the page. Fill in the necessary information on each page; member information should come up automatically. IMPORTANT: check the address on this page. This is where registration confirmations and PDH certificates are sent. Use the Continue button on the lower right hand corner of the page to go to the next step. Page 3 of 8

4 Click on the number of people that will attend under your name. Students use the bottom button. When the Add buttons are clicked on this page, a confirmation window will appear. Click the Add button on the confirmation window to confirm the number of attendees. Once confirmed, the website page changes to show the attendees to the right of the page. If there are changes to make to the list, just click the box to the left of the name, and click on the Delete button to delete the attendee, and follow the confirmation process. When the attendee list is completed, click on the Continue button at the lower right hand corner of the page. Page 4 of 8

5 The Review Order page includes the registration information, and attendees that will be coming to the meeting under your name. Click on the respective Edit buttons if you see information that needs to be changed. The website will take you back to the correct page to edit the information. Click the Continue button at the lower right hand corner of the page to continue. The next page addresses Payment; notice how the arrow bar has moved towards the right. Choose the Bypass Payment button at the upper left hand of the page to pay cash or check at the meeting. Click on the Continue button on the lower right hand corner of the page to pay online. 6 When paying at the meeting, the following screen appears. Click the Return to Home Page button to complete the transaction. An confirming the meeting registration will be sent to the address identified on this page. If you have chosen to pay online, the following screen appears (PayPal page devoted to ASHRAE CIC). Use your PayPal account information to complete the transaction, or you can click on the Don t Have a PayPal Account? link and fill out your credit card information manually. Page 6 of 8

7 The following screen appears if you chose to fill out the credit card information manually. Press on the Review and Continue button when complete. The following page appears after successfully entering in your credit card information. Click on the last radio button on the right side of the page, and then click Continue to proceed with the transaction. A confirmation page will appear. Click on the Pay Now button to confirm the transaction. Page 7 of 8

8 The following screen appears after the transaction has been confirmed. Important: You must click the You MUST click Here to Complete Your Registration button to complete the entire transaction. Click on this button which will take you back to the CIC ASHRAE website. The following page appears. IMPORTANT: to confirm that you have registered AND paid online for the CIC ASHRAE meeting, you should have received two (2) confirming s. One is from the CIC ASHRAE website, and the other will be from the PayPal website. Click the Return to Home Page button on the lower right hand corner of the page to finalize the registration process. Page 8 of 8
