Flyout menu on the main navigation bar: Booking instructions for bahn.corporate customers TRAVEL MANAGERS: HOW TO USE THE CORPORATE CUSTOMER PORTAL TO BOOK A TICKET 1
1. Log in using your user name These instructions provide you with step-by-step assistance for booking tickets online in our corporate customer portal. It's easy, fast and very convenient. 1 2 3 After you've logged on to the corporate customer portal, the system opens the portal's homepage. 4 All of the functions you need for managing profiles, details, etc. are located in the "Administration" section of the portal's navigation bar. (1) Using the navigation bar, you can quickly access the overview page for orders. This lets you look at the details of your most recent bookings and all orders placed via the portal. You can change and update information here. (2) The menu item "BahnCard Business" contains everything you need to know about BahnCards.(3) On the top right of the portal page, there is a field that contains your personal data and that gives you quick access to the administration function. (4) When you have created your travel profile, the system contains your most important details (e.g. credit card, payment method, preferred choice of seats) which will be automatically included in every order. This saves you time when reserving tickets. 2

Travel information & selecting connections Booking tickets for yourself or others You can use the quick booking function on the left of the page (1) or the option "Book a ticket" (2) to buy tickets for journeys. 1 You can also organise journeys for registered employees if you have been authorised to do so. 2 3 Use the link "Book for colleagues" (3) for this. 3
2. Travel information & selecting connections Adding journey details and BahnCard Select the desired departure and destination stations for the journey, along with the date and time, the number of passengers and the preferred carriage class. If you have a BahnCard Business or another kind of discount card, select the appropriate option here. If you have saved these details in your travel profile, the system automatically includes them. 4
2. Travel information & selecting connections / selecting a round trip The system now forwards you to the selection page. It shows you the full range of connections available to you, including journey times and ticket prices. Click the arrow next to a connection to see detailed information about it. You can now book the preferred outbound journey (one step) or also add a return journey. Selecting a return journey Click the link to the right of the preferred connection. You can now specify the details for the return journey. If you want, you can include one or more stopovers along the way. Click "Add" to move to the next step. 5
3. Selecting tickets and seats You can now choose the type of ticket you want, e.g. an online ticket. If you would also like to reserve a seat, tick the box underneath the option "Would you like to reserve a seat?" The price of a first class ticket automatically includes a seat reservation. If necessary, you can alter the preferred seating choices stored in your travel profile. Click "Proceed" to check if the seats you would like to reserve are actually available. If they are not, the system suggests alternative seating. 6
3. Selecting tickets and seats using the carriage plan When travelling by ICE, you normally have the option of using the carriage plan to select seating. Click the option "Show seats" to see what seats are available. The system uses stored preferences to suggest seats. You can view a diagram of your train carriage by using the pop-up window to access it directly or by using the arrow symbols to scroll through the neighbouring carriages. Click the seat you want and finalise this choice by clicking "Confirm selection". 7

Selecting tickets and seats using the carriage plan Selecting return journey You can repeat these steps to book a return journey and use the "Show seats" option to see the carriage plan and select where you want to sit. The booking overview function displays your choices so you have the opportunity to modify them just before confirming your ticket purchase. If you want to make changes to the reservation, open the carriage plan by clicking "Change seat". If you are happy with this choice and want to complete your reservation, click "Confirm selection". 8
4. Passenger & payment details / identification card Use this page to include the form of identifcation you will use when the train attendant checks your ticket during your journey. If you have saved this information in your travel profile, the system automatically includes it. Confirm that you have read and accept the terms of purchasing an online ticket. 9
4. Passenger & payment details / payment Use this page to add your credit card details. If you have included a corporate credit card as the form of payment in your travel profile, you can use this page to include any additional billing information. Click "Continue" when you have finished. Redeeming vouchers and collecting bahn.bonus points You can also redeem vouchers or e-coupons on this page and collect DB's passenger points. You can save the number of the card in the travel profile or enter it here. 10
5. Completing your booking You now have the opportunity to check all of the information you have provided about your journey. If you would like to receive notification about any delays to your connection/s, activate the delay alarm at the bottom of the page. By clicking "Buy now", you accept our general terms and conditions of business and finalise the ticket ordering process. 11
6. Confirmation of booking You have now completed your booking and the system sends you order confirmation in the form of an e-mail. You can print out your online ticket and save it in your documents. The DB Navigator app (for iphone and Android) lets you download this ticket to your smartphone. All you have to do is add your bahn.corporate user data to the app. To complete the process, you can have your travel date/s automatically added to your schedule. NB: don't forget to take your selected form of identification (ID card) with you when travelling. Thank you. We wish you a pleasant journey. 12
