M&T Web InfoPLU$ GETTING STARTED GUIDE Web InfoPLU$ Getting Started Guide Welcome to Web InfoPLU$, M&T s Internet reporting and payment service. The purpose of this guide is to help you log on for the first time so you can begin to use Web InfoPLU$ for your information and payment needs. If you require assistance at any time, please contact the Commercial Service Team at 1-800-724-2240, Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm ET. System Requirements The following are the requirements for operating Web InfoPLU$ on your PC: PC with Windows Vista or Windows 7 (Macintosh computers are not compatible) Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8.0 or higher Cookies must be activated within your Internet Browser. Web InfoPLU$ uses temporary cookies that are automatically deleted after exiting your session Adobe Acrobat software current version is required to view and save reports 128 bit encryption Recommend minimum screen resolution display setting of 1024 x 768 Signing On to Web InfoPLU$ for the First Time You can access the Web InfoPLU$ log on page at www.mtb.com/commercial. To get started, you will need a Username and Password. M&T emailed these security access codes to you in two separate email messages from the address infoplus@mtb.com. If your organization subscribes to ACH and/or Wire payment initiation you will also be required to authenticate yourself through a token device each time you log in to Web InfoPLU$. Tokens are distributed by your organization s Web InfoPLU$ System Administrator. Note: Please be sure to work with your technology group to make any necessary configurations to your network s email spam filter to ensure these emails are received. To help you protect your online security, we are offering at no cost the Protector security feature that you can download to each PC from which you access your Web InfoPLU$ accounts. Protector is designed to mask your log in credentials from key-stroke logging malware to help you protect your Web InfoPLU$ accounts accessed through your PC from online payment fraud. The first time you select the Web InfoPLU$ log on screen; you will be presented with a pop-up message that includes instructions for downloading Protector. 1. 2. The Protector security feature pop-up message will automatically appear. Web InfoPLU$ Getting Started Guide If you choose to activate Protector, please follow the on-screen instructions to install the ActiveX control. After installing Protector, close your browser and reopen it. If you need assistance with activation or a copy of the Protector User Guide, please contact the Commercial Service Team at 1-800-724-2240 Once you have activated Protector, the fields for entering your Username and Password will appear in yellow and there will be a locked padlock in the upper right hand corner to indicate the Protector service is turned on 3. At the Log On page enter your Username and Password. Click Log On. 4. The Change Password page will appear. Create your new personal user Password. Click Ok. The requirements for Passwords on Web InfoPLU$ are as follows: 8 character minimum Minimum of 1 alpha character and 1 numeric character Repeating characters limited to 3 Password is case sensitive Cannot be reused for 361 days Please Note: Your user Password will expire every 90 days and trigger the Change Password page to display automatically. 5. If your company requires the use of a security token for secondary authentication, follow the Initial Secondary Authentication instructions on the next page. Secondary Authentication provides you with an additional level of protection to help you protect your organization from data compromises by giving you a unique number through a token device each time you log on to Web InfoPLU$. Tokens are required if your organization uses the ACH and/or Wire Transfer modules on Web InfoPLU$. Tokens are distributed by your organization s Web InfoPLU$ System Administrator. Each time you log on, you will need to undergo secondary authentication. The secondary authentication screen will appear after you have successfully entered your initial Username and Password in the Web InfoPLU$ log on screen. Token Serial # : Token Response # : You will be required to use your token device (pictured below) to complete your log on to the service. If you do not have a token device, contact your System Administrator. To successfully authenticate, you will be required to enter two fields of information: Token Serial # : This number is located on the back of your token device; it is preceded by the letters S/N. The Token Serial # is only required for your initial authentication on Web InfoPLU$. Subsequent logins will only require the Token Response # Token Response # : First enter your unique 4 digit PIN into the token device. If the PIN is entered correctly, the screen will go blank and a blinking cursor will appear. Hit the Enter key located at top right corner of the token The token will display a randomly generated eight digit number. Enter this number into the Token Response # field on the secondary authentication screen Please Note: If you receive a Token Response # that is less than eight digits, enter your token PIN again to generate a new response. After both numbers have been provided, click Ok 6. After clicking Ok, you will be presented the Security Questions screen where you will be asked to select and provide answers to five unique questions from a pre-determined list. After selecting the five questions and providing answers, you must also choose if you would like us to Remember This 2015 M&T Bank. Member FDIC. Page 3 of 5

Computer and click the Next button and you will be directed to the confirmation page. Note: Would you like Us to Remember this Computer? - M&T offers the option to remember your computer based on your response during the enrollment process, as well as any subsequent challenge question pages. Consider choosing Yes for any device that you routinely use to access M&T Bank Internet pages, including your work computer, tablet, home computer or other device. If you are using someone else s computer, a public computer or you do not want M&T to remember this computer for any reason, select No. M&T will use this information during login attempts. If you choose Yes, you may be required to confirm your identity less frequently. If you select No during enrollment, you may be asked to authenticate yourself by answering challenge questions during future login attempts. You will have the opportunity to change your decision regarding computer recognition during future logins. 2015 M&T Bank. Member FDIC. Page 4 of 5

7. The Home Page will appear when log on is complete. Change Password In Web InfoPLU$, you can elect to change your Password by following the below instructions: 1. Select the Administration tab 2. Click Change Password Additional Help Once you are logged on to Web InfoPLU$, you will have access to the Learning Center, which consists of a number of resources to help you navigate Web InfoPLU$. If you require additional assistance at any time, please contact the Commercial Service Team at 1-800-724-2240, Monday Friday, 8am 6pm ET.
