There will be six grades f grades indicated by A, B, C, D, E, and M (Maiden). 3. Any greyhund racing in Grade E fr fur (5) cnsecutive starts that fails t finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, r 4th in thse 5 starts, may be drpped frm further racing, at the discretin f the Racing Secretary. 4. The winner f a maiden race shall be advanced n higher than Grade D.

5. The Racing Secretary may re-classify a greyhund at any time within its first three starts, but n mre than ne grade higher r lwer. 6. Greyhunds falling in a race shall be cnsidered a starter in that race. 7. Greyhunds nt racing n accunt f illness r injury fr thirty (30) r mre days may be reclassified. 8. Greyhunds transferring frm ne track t anther during the racing seasn may be regarded by the Racing Secretary in accrdance with the prvisins f this sectin. 9. The winner f any race is advanced ne grade until reaching Grade A. 10. If a greyhund fails t finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, in three cnsecutive starts (except in Grade D) r fails t earn mre than ne 3rd in fur cnsecutive starts in the same grade; that greyhund shall be lwered ne grade. In Grade D, a greyhund may fail t finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, r 4th in fur cnsecutive starts befre being lwered. 11. The Racing Secretary shall determine the prper grading fr the varius races. 12. Greyhunds f different grades r f the same grade may be used in races f 3/8 mile r lnger. These races may be made up by the Racing Secretary and shall be designated by the letter "T", r the respective grade. A start in a "T" race will nt necessarily cunt in the usual manner in lwering r advancing a grade. The decisin shall be at the discretin f the Racing Secretary, hwever, the established plicy shall be maintained thrughut the meeting. 13. The prgram shall indicate the "grade" f each race n the page listing the entries fr that race. The grades f the races in which each entry participated shall be indicated in frnt f the names f the winners f thse races in the past perfrmance lines. Where "T" race are indicated, the regular grade f the greyhund shall be in parentheses. 14. All stake and sweepstakes races shall be indicated by the letter "S". 15. A greyhund finishing 2nd, 3rd, r 4th in Maiden events may at the request f the wner r trainer t the Racing Secretary be mved int grade "D" races and then must abide by all prvisins f the grading system. Maidens shall be designed by the letter "M" n the prgram after the name f the greyhund.

Odds Bard Each runner is listed by number n the Odds Bard (r tte Bard). Odds are psted next t the number. These dds are fr the WIN pl nly. They have n relatin t the PLACE, SHOW, QUINIELA, r any ther pl. On the left f the Odds Bard, each QUINIELA cmbinatin is listed with dds psted next t the cmbinatins. The dds change ften befre the race, based upn the amunt f mney being bet n each runner in each pl and are based n the number f wagers placed n a particular runner. As mre wagers are placed n a runner fr a WIN r QUINIELA cmbinatin, the dds g dwn. If fewer wagers are placed n a runner, the dds g up. Odds listed n the Bard are all $1.00 dds. If a runner r QUINIELA cmbinatin wins at 5-1 dds, the payff n a $2.00 wager is apprximately $12.00 (yur $2.00 wager plus five times that amunt fr a winning selectin). Regardless f hw much mney is bet n a favrite, the track must pay $2.10 fr each $2.00 winning bet. There's n limit n hw much can be wn n any single bet. Only the dds determine the amunts. After each race, the Odds Bard will shw which runners came in first, secnd, third, and furth. The Odds Bard shw payffs n all wagers fr that race and remember, the Odds Bard is nly an aid t the bettr.
