- O T 6 0 0 0 Alignment Laser System.
The OT-6000. Multi -Target,Two Dimensional Alignment. Introducing the most powerful way to measure alignment at distances up to 300 feet. The OT-6000 Alignment Laser System provides simultaneous, real-time measurement of multiple targets along a single reference laser line. Now you can dynamically monitor work as it progresses. The OT-6000 displays the X-Y deviation of each measurement target via your computer or optional handheld data terminal. Utilized by several major aircraft manufacturers, shipbuilders, and the automotive industry, the OT-6000 Alignment Laser System has proven to streamline efficiency and reduce man hours in a wide range of alignment applications. A typical system consists of a single Model OT-6000 LL Alignment Laser, OT-6000 DIM Digital Interface Module, one or more OT-6010 Transparent Targets, and an OT-6020 Reference Target. Numerous options are available as well. Multiple Target Capability. Specify as few or as many transparent targets required for the job. The OT-6000 System accommodates up to six. All targets daisy-chain together, and each target readily fits into NAS conventional tooling spheres. Simply place the target in the beam path, and you re ready to go. Computer Control. Beam-Trak 6000 software makes it easy to dynamically monitor work in progress. This rich graphical interface displays the X-Y deviation of all targets simultaneously. One glance at the screen, and you know exactly the measurement profile of your project. Oversize fonts enable easy readability over great distances. 1 Silicon Position Sensing Detector. 9 0.001-Inch Resolution At 300 Feet. Optimize precision and add a greater measure of confidence. The OT- 6000 provides 0.001-inch resolution at distances up to 300 feet. This is enabled by a third generation fiber-coupled diode laser delivery system that ensures exceptional beam coherence over long distances even in demanding outdoor environments. An Ideal Laser Tracking Alternative. Many consider expensive, laser trackers too much solution for alignment applications alone. The OT-6000 provides a simpler, far more cost-effective alternative with zero compromise to accuracy. Moreover, with its multiple target, real-time measurement capability, the OT-6000 provides major benefits laser trackers don t. 1. Applications Software 2. Reference Target 3. Transparent Target 4. Laser Alignment At A Glance. The system cables together in moments using a simple daisy-chain configuration. How Laser Alignment Works. The principle of linear laser alignment is simple. A stationary laser, aimed at a reference target up to 300 feet away, creates a line in space that serves as a rock-solid measurement reference. Next, any number of transparent targets are placed directly in the beam path. As the laser light passes through each transparent target, the target is able to determine its X-Y deviation relative to the laser beam. The position data from each target is fed into a handheld data terminal, digital display unit, or windows based application software program. Real-Time Feedback. Enables user to make on-the-spot alignment adjustments. Faster Measurement. Reduces man hours and facilitates project efficiency. Maximum Range. Perform measurements at distances up to 300 feet. Simultaneous Measurement. Enables simultaneous measurement from multiple targets. Data Analysis. Position data can be monitored, stored and analyzed by a computer. The Line Laser Advantage. Laser based alignment provides significant advantages over competing alignment techniques. Cost Effective. Outperforms laser tracking systems in this specific application, at a fraction of the price. Ultra Precise. Eliminates margin of error associated with subjective manual approaches. The OT-6000 Alignment Laser System simultaneously measures X and Y position along several struts used to hold the propellor shaft on the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier.
OT-6000 LL ULTRALIGN LASER OT-6010/6020 OT-6000 DIM TARGET SERIES AND DIGITAL INTERFACE MODULE INTERNAL FIBER-COUPLED LASER DIODE. No-compromise performance to 300 feet. Beam centration of + 0.002 inches. Pulsed at 500 Hz allows target to be totally unaffected by ambient light. POWER. An internal rechargeable NiMH battery pack provides 24 hours continuous use. AC power also. LOW POWER INDICATOR. Illuminates when battery pack is low. TAPERED NAS MOUNT. Made from chrome-plated stainless steel, the NAS Mount is slightly tapered near the front of the laser for easy insertion into NAS tooling sphere mounts. OT-6000 CW 0.010-Inch Calibration Wedge (option). Allows for convenient field verification of laser/target calibration. Conveniently attaches directly to OT-6000 Series Target. OT-6000 RP Reflector Plate (option). Assists in initial setup of targets by showing position of reflected beam from target face. The OT-6000 Target Series consists of two target types: the OT-6010 Transparent Target and the OT-6020 Reference Target. The OT-6000 DIM provides power to the targets in a daisy-chain configuration and serves as a RS-232/RS-485 communications hub for all targets. This enables remote computer control of the entire system. MULTI-TARGET CAPABILITY. Utilize up to six OT-6010 targets and one OT-6020 target per application. 1-INCH DIAMETER SENSOR AREA. Makes it easy to place target into reference beam path. PROPRIETARY TRANSPARENT DESIGN.* A proprietary beam-splitting pellicle design with internal compensation wedges eliminates beam deviation associated with laser beams passing through glass. LEVELING BUBBLE. A 30 minute level bubble allows for precise positioning of the target. POSITIVE MAGNETIC MOUNTING. Integral magnets within the OT-6000 Series Target firmly secure the target when inserted into a standard NAS tooling sphere. INTELLIGENT SENSOR DESIGN. When mounted in a standard NAS tooling sphere, the target's internal PSD is perfectly centered within the sphere to ensure repeatability and insensitivity to errors in angular measurement. OT-6000 RD Remote Display (option). Displays X-Y deviation at location of target. Installs instantly with magnetic mount. * OT-6010 only.
OT-6000 BEAM-TRAK 6000 SOFTWARE (OPTION) SIMULTANEOUSLY VIEW ALL TARGETS. View X-Y deviation of all targets simultaneously, in real-time. CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS. Select measurement units, set resolution, toggle zero offset, and customize display with desired fonts and font sizes. Save settings for instant recall. COMMUNICATE WITH TARGETS. Assign and change target address, and set the internal target address. Save settings for instant recall. INTUITIVE OPERATION. Minimal, straightforward controls ensure simple operation and a fast learning curve. The OT-6000 AL Auto-Align Laser System is a variation of the standard OT-6000 LL Ultralign Laser. It is specifically designed for applications where excessive stress during the alignment process of a large structure can cause the alignment laser and reference target to move out of center. The OT-6000 AL utilizes an automatic feedback loop that constantly monitors alignment between the alignment laser and reference target. Should the center alignment on the reference target be disturbed, internal motion controllers within the laser head automatically realign the laser to the reference target's center. Auto-Align Laser System: OT-6000 AL Internal motion controllers automatically realign laser to the reference target center. User-programmable settings for out-of-tolerance condition and feedback sampling rate. Tolerance and sampling settings can be stored into memory. OT-6000 RDT REMOTE DATA TERMINAL (OPTION) REMOTE OPERATION. Communicate with the entire system at distances up to 100 feet. CONTROL FUNCTIONS. Select pulse averaging and zero offset at the push of a button. DISPLAY DATA. View individual target positions and system status on the 4-line by 20-character supertwist backlit display.
