bachelor of business administration programme structure The bba programme is a three-year, 180 ects credits programme. as a general rule, each course has 7.5 credits and covers approximately 45 contact hours over a period of 12 to 14 weeks with lectures, seminars and case work. class size may vary between 40 and 150. group work, term paper preparation, and independent study are important elements in all courses. The teaching has a practical approach with group projects and case studies as an integral part. at the end of each semester, in november/december and in may/june, there is an exam period of four to six weeks. specialisations before they start their third year, the students are to choose a specialisation in either finance or marketing. features & objectives This programme gives participants a broad business education. The curriculum focuses on basic business related topics in management, finance, economics, methodology, law, and marketing. bi norwegian business school is the first and only business school in norway to offer a bachelor of business administration (bba), taught entirely in english. Total value: approximately nok 60,000. a. wilhelmsen foundation scholarship programme The a. wilhelmsen foundation scholarship programme provides a two-year scholarship valued at nok 150,000 per year, for up to two students each year. scholarships are also available for excellent candidates from the bachelor of shipping management programme. The scholarships consist of a full tuition fee waiver for the first year of the programme (value nok 65,200) and a 50 % tuition fee waiver for the second and the third year of the programme (value approx. nok 30,000 for each year).
