Skills related aspects Analytical skills: o For business problems, which have no standard procedure to a solution, be able to structure and through logical reasoning deduce the most relevant points and draw conclusions; o In analysing a business problem be able to use and connect knowledge and theories from different sub disciplines and on that basis be able to design solutions (interdisciplinarity); o Be able to compare business literature on a certain topic in a certain sub area and apply this to a business case and be able to assess the contents of publications from a interdisciplinary perspective; o In analysing business problems be able to apply qualitative and quantitative techniques (a.o. statistical and modelling techniques); o In a group be able to formulate and execute a study thereby regarding the different stages in a research process such as: formulating a research plan; refer to relevant literature; collect, process and interpret the data; translate finding into conclusions and recommendations.
