Detailed Scope of Work, Big Data Handling, Page 9 with reference to the requirement 'Solution should provide ability for analytics on continuously ingested real-time data', we assume that the bank needs capability to seamlessly run analytics on structured and unstructured data without physical movement of data. For example customer segmentation across data stored in structured databases and big data repository yes Detailed Scope of Work, Analytics /BI Tool, Page 10 6 Detailed Scope of Work, Analytics /BI Tool, Page 10 7 Detailed Scope of Work, Analytics /BI Tool, Page 10 Statistical analysis of the nature listed in this section requires specialized analytical applications for computing aspects such as Profitability, Life time value, Fraud detection, Data Mining etc. These can not be supported by a standard BI / reporting platform. Please confirm that the bank would like to deploy analytical applications to achieve the requirements listed in this section With reference to the requirement on Profitability and LTV, please confirm that the bank will want to compute relationship and customer level Profitability, RAROC and Life Time Value, inclusive of aspects such as transfer charge / credit and overhead cost / capital allocation. This should be scalable to branch, product, relationship manager etc With reference to the requirement on Fraud Analytics mentioned in this section, kindly confirm that the bank needs the DW to inherently support availability of a behavior detection platfrom along with a library of most common / globally implemented and acknowledged fraud scenarios. 8 Detailed Scope of Work, Page 8 Today analytical modeling capabilities come embedded within the datawarehouse requiring no movement and duplication of data. We assume the bank expects to deploy the end to end datawarehouse which ensures that there no downstream analytical systems that replicate or duplicate data. Analytics/Reporting Tool, Page 10 Banks deploy a warehouse to solve critical and complex problems such as pricing for customers, marginal profitability of each relationship, liquidity risk reporting etc. Is it right to assume that the bank would like to get these delivered from the datawarehouse without resorting to multiple downstream applications that do not connect or reconcile with each other? from an IT perspective also, this will reduce the ETL overhead and ongoing maintenance cost 10 Analytics/Reporting Tool, Page 11 Request the bank to list down business requirements in detail for bidders to qualify the analytical capabilities required within the datawarehouse aside the eleven points mentioned in the RFP. This will help fine tuning of the solution to be proposed to the bank in line with existing technology. 11 Analytics/Reporting Tool, Page 11 Which business requirements / reports are expected to be real time?
