This position will serve as the HR Business Partner for 2-4 remote locations with oversight of HR-related matters for assigned stations. The HRM will be critical in establishing the company values, strategies, processes and policies related to recruitment, employee / labor relations, performance management, training and development, etc. Plays a key role in the development of functional strategy, representing the company in this knowledge area, and coordinating the needs of the employee population. Accountable for the alignment of the Human Resources strategy with the overall business strategy ensuring overall organizational and station success. Participate in key HR initiatives including staffing, performance management, compensation, development and engagement Work with centralized talent acquisition team to set and maintain standards around recruitment process. Graduate degree in human resources management or business administration preferred with minimum 5-8 years of HR generalist experience. Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with management and employees. The ability to communicate and champion HR & company processes is strongly desired.
Must have experience in a union environment and understanding the complexities of workforce within a client group which may be geographically dispersed. Ability to research, summarize, form conclusions and articulate recommendations to resolve various HR-related issues. Excellent communication, organization, facilitation and creative problem solving skills are also required. The producer will also work with newspaper partner, other local news sites and TV stations in Tribune Broadcasting network to promote FOX CT videos and stories. Will spot trending stories and produce and package relevant and compelling content, with emphasis on original digital video content. Web producer is well versed in social media, SEO and other tools to grow FOXCT s digital audience while increasing engagement with viewers across all platforms. POSITION: Director DATE: March 1, 2014 DEPARTMENT: Production REPORTS TO: Production Manager ROLE: Direct newscasts and other live and taped programs. RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as television director for locally produced programs including, but not limited to: Newscasts; Public Affairs programs; Lottery Drawings; and live events, such as The MDA Telethon, etc Manage and supervise technical crew during pre-production sessions. Code the daily newscast for Ross OverDrive. Prepare show rundowns with camera blocking for floor crew. Direct and switch shows as assigned, using Ross OverDrive. Coordinate with show producers during development and scriptwriting. Provide creative and technical feedback to production manager and art department to facilitate show graphic and animation creation. Complete technical reports after each newscast. May be asked to perform other production responsibilities such as Robotics, Audio, Jib, etc Other duties as assigned.
