Students are to inform the administrative staff of any unexpected absences. If a student must leave the school during a regularly scheduled day of attendance, the administrative staff should be notified on a timely basis as to the reason and length of time the student will be absent. If a student does not attend classes for 2 weeks, the student will be dropped. Leave of absences are available. Each student enrolled in Cosmetology should attend classes on Saturdays. Saturday attendance is necessary to complete the project requirements. Tardiness is a disruption to classes; therefore, each student will be allowed to clock in 15 minutes after their scheduled beginning hour. If they are not able to clock in during the 15 minute grace period the student must clock in one hour past their scheduled times.

What is the policy for re-admission? 20 Students who wish to re-enroll after withdrawing from the school may do so by following regular admission procedures. If a student re-enrolls and can complete the course requirements within the 3 year time frame, all prior money paid to the school will be applied to the cost of completion. The student will be responsible for any increase in tuition charges and the purchase of any supplies and books necessary to complete the course as prescribed by the school. The leave of absence must be submitted in writing using the institutions Leave of Absence form in advance. * When advance notification is not possible due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a car accident and the student is injured and needs recovery time, the school will document the reason for not obtaining the advance notice. The school will obtain the request form at a later date. * The beginning date of the leave would be determined to be the first date the student was unable to attend the institution due to the accident. The leave must include the reason for the student s request for a leave. The student must sign the request form. The school will not asses the student any additional charges as a result of the leave of absence.
