Any type, height, sex or colour. OPEN HEAVYWEIGHTS/COBS/ TRADITIONALS/ VANNERS/NATIVE to be shown their in natural state or hogged and trimmed Any age, height, sex. Class 10 BSPA Class 11 BSPA RIHS Class 12 BSPA RIHS Class 13 NOVICE HORSE OR PONY Any type, sex or colour 4 years and over Judge will not ride. Display required never to have won two firsts. Any suitable snaffle bridle may be worn. No spurs. Cavesson Noseband only. BSPA RIHS Skewbald/Piebald Ridden Pony not exceeding 153cms Any type, sex, 4 years old and over. Rider any age suitable for the pony. The Judge will not ride. No spurs may be worn. Open to BSPA members only BSPA RIHS Skewbald/Piebald Horse exceeding 153cms Any type, sex, 4 years old and over exceeding 153cms. Riders 15 years and older as 1 st January of current year. Classes will be judged within the rules and criteria of the B.S.P.A, copies can be obtained from them. Please note that you do not have to be a member to compete but you must hold a current membership/horse registration to qualify for the 2014 WCC Summer Championships. 1 st 3 rd or three highest placed in open classes to qualify. All ualification cards MUST be signed in the ring by the class judge in order to be valid.. The Brightwells Auctioneers Skewbald and Piebald Sports Horse and Pony In Hand/Ridden National Championship ualifier. These classes are for athletic Horses and Ponies that have the conformation and movement to compete in Dressage, Showjumping or Eventing and that have a verified/proven parentage passport, breeding must be indicated on the entry form. Each Horse/Pony is to be judged individually on a triangle and also walked and trotted round the ring as a class. Marks will be awarded for confirmation, walk, trot and overall impression Classes 11-12 These classes are affiliated to the British Skewbald and Piebald Association and are qualifiers for the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead July 2014. These classes will be judged under BSPA rules, copies of which can be obtained from them. All horses/ponies must be registered with and owners & riders members of BSPA prior to the show. Rider age is taken as 1 st Jan. All stallions must be graded and licensed by BSPA in order to compete Red Stallion ID card must be carried.. No rider under 14yrs may exhibit a stallion in any class. Membership and ualification cards MUST be carried in the ring by competitors and produced as required for inspection and signature. Failure to do so will disqualify any competitor and their qualification handed down to the next unqualified competitor. Spurs may not be worn in any pony class. Ponies 153cms or under must posses a current JMB height certificate. ualification: 1 st place and the highest next unqualified competitor standing 2 nd or 3 rd qualify from each class. No competitor may qualify from lower than 3 rd place. Riders 15years and over in horse classes exceeding 153cm RULES 1. Competitors and spectators attend the show at their own risk. The organisers will not be held responsible for any accident, damage, loss or injury to any person, animal or property whatsoever. 2. The judge s decision is FINAL. 3. No entries to be refunded. 4. No lunging in the collecting ring. 5. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without explanation. 6. Any horse, pony, handler or rider behaving in any way that poses a risk to itself or others will be asked to leave. 7. All colts/stallions must be bitted. NO EXCEPTIONS, STALLIONS 4 YEARS AND OVER MUST BE GRADED WITH BSPA. 8. Horses/ponies in ridden classes must be 4 years old and over unless otherwise stated in the schedule 9. Horse/ponies ages are from 1st January 10. Junior riders must wear correctly secured British Standard Riding Hats as EN1384.PAS015 or PAS accredited. 11. Skewbald/Piebald colts/stallions aged 4yrs and over must be licensed or graded with the B.S.P.A to go in showing classes. No rider or handler under 15yrs may exhibit a colt/stallion. 12. Owners/Handlers/Riders/Horses must be members/registered with B.S.P.A to qualify but need not to enter (except 11-12 when membership horse registration is required prior to the show) 13. Spurs or dress spurs must not be worn in any Ridden Pony class. Where a Horse/Pony class are held no exhibitor may wear spurs. - B.S.P.A rule. 14. Dressage whips are forbidden and all whips must be under 30 inches 15. No mucking out into the car park Take your rubbish home 16. No smoking in arena 17. No dogs except in horsebox area must be on the lead 18. Mobile phones must be turned off in the ring 19. No earrings, tongue studs, or any jewellery may be worn whilst competing 4
