Steals & Deals Email Blast Program As a branch of NYU Box Office, Ticket Central offers the Steals & Deals program a select listing of discounts to shows and events in New York City, which NYU students, staff, faculty, and alumni can access with their NYU ID cards. These newsletter blasts reach over 36,000 members of the NYU community; additionally, NYU Ticket Central has a robust and growing social media presence with over 7500 fans on Facebook and 5000 Twitter followers 1. Optimized to be mobile friendly, the Steals & Deals newsletter program offers the following placements and options with the guaranteed deliverables: Dedicated Email Blast: 100% share of voice on newsletter; 600x300 header; up to 200 words for description (not counting discount and restrictions information); two additional slots in two-column layout (270x170 images); promotion on Facebook and Twitter; runs independent of regular Steals & Deals email schedule (please feel free to email for more information). $600 Marquee Listing: lead image and top billing for your discount/event with a prominent 600x300 header; up to 100 words for description (not counting discount and restrictions information); title of event in subject line; and promotion on Facebook and Twitter. $375 Premiere Listing: one of top four positions in one email blast within two-column layout; 270x170 image; up to 50 words for description; promotion on Twitter. $150 General Listing: 172x100 image laid out within a three-column layout; up to 20 words for description; promotion on Twitter. $50 Free Listing: hand-selected by Steals & Deals staff; inclusion not guaranteed; no image; up to 15 words for description. Email Blast Schedule: Ticket Central will send its Steals & Deals email once every two weeks while school is in session. NYU Steals & Deals Frequently Asked Questions Q: How do I submit my event/discount information to NYU Steals & Deals? A: All requests for listings in our email blasts and social media should be submitted online. You can pay for your listing online or by phone with a credit card by calling 212 992 8256. Q: What kind of information do I need to submit? Do I have to fill out EVERYTHING on the submission form? A: Please fill out the submission form as completely as possible not every field on the form needs to be completed if it does not apply to your event/offer (for example: if your offer is only available in person with an ID, you do not need to supply a phone number or website for purchase). Q: How many offers can I submit at once? Will all of my offers appear in the same email blast? A: If you have requested and paid for multiple Dedicated, Marquee, Premiere or General listings, our staff will work with you to ensure that your listings are included in our blasts in the way that make the most sense. Unfortunately, we cannot include more than one free listing per person/show/organization per semester. If you submit multiple requests for free listings, we will try to condense your requests into one listing, or hold your requests until the next semester. Exceptions to these guidelines will be made at the discretion of the Steals & Deals staff. Q: I submitted my event information online. What are the next steps? When will I hear from someone about my listing? A: If you have requested a Marquee, Premiere or General listing, please pay for your listing online or by phone with a credit card at 212 992 8256 after you have submitted your form. We will contact you within 2 3 business days if we have questions regarding the information we received. On or around the Friday before your requested email blast date, we will contact you to confirm placement in the blast. Q: Can my offer be listed on your website? A: No. Our Steals & Deals offers are listed in our dedicated email blasts and on Facebook and Twitter, but not on our web site. The Ticket Central website only promotes tickets that are sold through our box office. Q: Can I list rush ticket information? A: Yes, if you purchase a Dedicated, Marquee, Premiere or General listing. We will not list rush offers free of charge. Q: Will I receive a draft of the e mail blast before it is sent? A: Yes. If you purchased a Dedicated, Marquee, Premiere or General listing, you will receive a draft of the e mail the Tuesday before the blast date. Please reply back with necessary changes within 24 of receiving the draft. If you requested a free listing, you will not receive a draft of the message. Q: Can I receive a copy of the e mail blast after it is sent?

A: Yes. You can become a member of our list by entering your email on our website (www.nyu.edu/ticketcentral). Alternatively, you can e mail ticketcentral.marketing@gmail.com to request a final copy of the e mail. Q: We have an ongoing event. Can we be featured in all Steals & Deals blasts during the run? A: Yes, if you purchase a Marquee, Premiere or General listing for each email blast. We cannot include free listings in more than one email per semester. Q: I did not request a specific blast date. Will my listing still be posted? When? A: All Dedicated, Marquee, Premiere and General listings should include your preferred blast date. If you did not include this on your submission form, someone on our staff will contact you to discuss an optimal date. Requests for free listings will be included on our blasts at the discretion of the management. Q: When should I expect to see the listing I requested on Social Media? A: Listings on social media are posted at the discretion of the Steals and Deals staff, depending on the volume of offers, date, and type of offer.
