I. How to play Keno 1. Keno Menu 2. Keno Kwikfacts - Keno is a fun, easy-to-play numbers game where you can win over $1,000,000 for $1! - On each game 20 numbers are drawn - There s over 400 games to play a day - Play 50 games of Keno, get 1 free! So if you play 150, you will actually get 153 games - We can pay up to $2000 for a keno win. If it is over $2000 a cheque must be written and redeemed a minimum of 24 hours later. - You must place a minimum of a total $1 bet 3
3. Keno Keno is played by selecting 1 to 40 numbers out of a range of 80 numbers. Bets are placed on the chosen numbers and division placement relies on the amount of numbers selected. These divisions are called "Spots". For example, a person betting on 3 numbers is put in Spot 3; those with 4 numbers are placed in Spot 4 and so on. To determine the winner, a draw is held wherein 20 balls are randomly selected. These balls each hold numbers which becomes that draw's winning digits. A player in Spot 10 who successfully matches all his numbers with the drawn digits wins the jackpot prize. Filling out the Keno ticket: a) How many numbers you want to play b) Mark your numbers c) How much you want to spend on each game d) How many games you want to play You can select Keno Bonus to have the chance to multiply your win- see Keno Bonus NOTE: If the patron plays 7, 8,9 or 10 numbers the minimum bet is $1.00 4
Processing a Keno Ticket Steps to processing a keno ticket Ticket 1) Place the keno ticket through the processor 2) Tell the patron the amount for the keno ticket, repeat their bet if required 3) Take the money from the patron and give them their correct change if you aren t good at adding up in your head always use the CALCULATE CHANGE 4) Give the patron their ticket and say Good luck 5) Press END CUSTOMER Manually 1) The patron will come up to the keno console and give you their keno bet manually 2) Ensure you ask; how many numbers, what the numbers are, the amount of spend and the number of games 3) Take the money from the patron and give them their correct change if you aren t good at adding up in your head always use the CALCULATE CHANGE 4) Give the patron their ticket and say Good luck 5) Press END CUSTOMER Computer Functions: 1. Select Keno Bet in the Keno Main Menu 5
2. Select the numbers the patron would like and then press ACCEPT 4. Enter in; - Bet per game amount - Number of games playing for 5. If requested; -Select lucky last or keno bonus, including bet per games and number of games 6. Press SEND 6
7. Take the money- Amount due is located at the top of the screen 8. Calculate change - Press OPEN TILL if you know the change - Press CALCULATE CHANGE if you aren t confident calculating change 9. Always press END CUSTOMER after each customer Example Keno Ticket: Maximum amount you can win per game The selected numbers 5, 9, 12 Total number of numbers picked Shows the first and last game The bet amount per game Number of games Total amount due to pay by the patron 7
4. Kwikpiks Kwikpiks are similar to the lottery whereby, you let the computer randomly pick your numbers and you leave it up to chance. Kwikpicks are exactly the same as keno except numbers are randomly chosen instead. 1) The patron will come up to the keno console and give you their Kwikpick bet manually 2) Ensure you ask; how many numbers/spots, the amount of spend and the number of games 3) Take the money from the patron and give them their correct change if you aren t good at adding up in your head always use the CALCULATE CHANGE 4) Give the patron their ticket and say Good luck 5) Press END CUSTOMER Kwikpik Plus is when a person can play several kwikpiks in one game. For example, you could play 3 3-spot kwikpicks in game 251. The price triples accordingly. Computer Functions: 1. Select KWIKPIK in the Keno Main Menu 8
2. Enter in; - amount of numbers/spots - bet amount per game - number of games 3. If requested; -Enter the number of kwikpiks per game -Select lucky last or keno bonus, including bet per games and number of games 4. Then press SEND 5. Take the money- Amount due is located at the top of the screen 6. Calculate change - Press OPEN TILL if you know the change - Press CALCULATE CHANGE if you aren t confident calculating change 7. Always press END CUSTOMER after each customer 9
5. Jackpots When you are playing 7 to 10 numbers, you are playing to win the jackpot. If every number you chose comes up, you win the jackpot. The current jackpot level is displayed on the keno screen. The minimum bet amount for a jackpot is $1. 6. Keno Bonus Keno Bonus gives you the chance to multiply your regular Keno prize x2, x3, x4, x5, x10! When you nominate Keno Bonus the cost of each game will double. At the beginning of each game it displays what the Keno Bonus is. To play Keno Bonus, simply check the box marked KB at the bottom if the keno ticket. If the patron is manually processing a ticket you will need to click that you want to play Keno Bonus, including the bet amount and the number of games. The cost of the game will double. 7. Lucky Last Play Luck Last on the standard keno, and if the last number is drawn in the game you are playing matched ANY that you have chosen, you win the Lucky Last Prize. Lucky last can only be selected when you are manually entering the ticket. 10
8. Heads or Tails Heads and tails is an easy game to play. Simply choose which half of the grid the most numbers will be drawn; HEADS EVENS TAILS Most numbers (11 or more) in top half of the Keno Grid. You double your money if you win 10 numbers are on each side of the grid. You quadruple your money if you win Most numbers (11 or more) in the bottom half of the grid. You double your money if you win. Filling out the Ticket 1. Select your bet- heads, tails or evens 2. Select the amount you want to bet per game 3. Select how many games you want to play 11
Processing the Heads or Tails ticket 1. Select Heads or Tails in the Keno Main Menu 2. Enter in; - Bet amount per game - Number of games - Bet Type (heads, tails or evens) 3. Press SEND 12
5. Take the money- Amount due is located at the top of the screen 6. Calculate change - Press OPEN TILL if you know the change - Press CALCULATE CHANGE if you aren t confident calculating change 7. Always press END CUSTOMER after each customer 9. Combination Bets For more advanced Keno players, multiple entries in each game can be played on one ticket and it enhances your chance of a win. Important points to remember; - Combinations are created by grouping numbers. - Each combination represents a separate bet on the ticket - You may only select combinations totaling to 1-10, 15, 20 or 40 numbers - It is not possible to have the same number in more than one group. - The Keno system will automatically select the maximum number of combinations for each or the groups of numbers selected - It is the amount of numbers correctly matched in each combination selected that determines your prize, NOT the total number you match. - Any combination Bet entry which includes a Jackpot game must have a minimum $1 bet. 13
Filling out the ticket: 1. Group your numbers with letters of the alphabet (A, B, C) 2. Mark the ALL box to play all combinations or if you had to groups of 3 numbers and you only wanted to play the two separate groups you would cross 3. 3. Mark the amount you want to spend per combination 4. Mark the number of games you want to play 5. Cross Keno Bonus if you would like to play Example Ticket: A B A X B X X A B 1. To play my parents date of birth I select A- 10, 3, 53 B- 25, 9, 57 2. If I want to just play the two separate groups I would cross three, however I would like to select ALL combinations so it will play the 3 numbers separate plus the one group of all six numbers 3. I will bet 50cents per bet. If I had a total of 7,8,9 or 10 numbers selected all up I would have to play a minimum bet of $1 as they are jackpot numbers 4. I would like to play 10 games 14
The cost of the bet will be; Each combination I am betting 50c, for 10 games. I have 2 combinations therefore; 2 combinations per game = 2 x 50c = $1 For 10 games = $10 total Computer Functions; 1. Select COMBINATION BET from the Keno Main Menu 2. Select the numbers on the screen. Select the number of numbers in the group if not there and then press NEXT GROUP 15
3. Select the second group of numbers. Select the number of numbers in the group if not there and then press ACCEPT 4. Enter in; - Bet per combination - Number of games 5. If requested; - Enter Lucky Last and Keno Bonus, including the number of games and the bet amount 6. Press SEND 16

Always press END CUSTOMER after each customer 10. Superplay For a bit more fun, instead of choosing numbers, you can choose an image. Superplay allows you to pick a combination of numbers in a shape or pattern. Each Superplay is flexible and you can change the number of games and the bet amount. Each Superplay corresponds with a number. For example, to play the Gone Fishing you would select 42. 17

II. Checking the Ticket To check a Keno Ticket simply scan the barcode and it will show the outcome on the screen. It will either say NO WIN in clear or PAY in blue. If the keno machine beeps it means that the ticket is still in play. If the patron hasn t won, say sorry no win this time, would you like to pace another ticket? If the person wins say the amount they have won and if they would like to replay or take their winnings (refer to vii. replaying a ticket) III. Replaying a Ticket If a person wants to replay- DO NOT PRESS REPLAY AS IS. Often a patron will say replay as is but what they mean is replay to the amount won. Ie: They have 50c bets and won $4 so they would like to play for 8 games, not their original 10. Always press the REPLAY CHANGE button and confirm the bet amount and number of games. Print the ticket and take the money as per keno bet and press END CUSTOMER 20
IV. Cancelling a Ticket To cancel a ticket simply scan the barcode on the keno scanner like you would when checking a ticket. You can cancel all games if they have not started or cancel the games remaining on the ticket. It will not cancel a ticket if; - All the games on the ticket have finished - If there is one of the games currently playing. For example, if you want to cancel a ticket which includes game 270 to 275 and you try to cancel during game 271 it will not let you. You will have to wait and cancel in the intermission between game 271 and 272. You will be able to cancel games 272 to 275 during the time. V. Common Errors Most errors are simply caused from the patron not marking one of the boxes on their ticket correctly. Always check; - Have the numbers marked correspond with the number amount they selected? - Have they missed one step on the ticket - If it is a jackpot ticket (7,8,9,10) is bet over the $1.00 minimum VI. Keno Cash Ins A Keno Cash In occurs when the amount in the keno till is low or there is not enough money in the till to complete a payout. A slip will automatically print out with the amount on it. Take the slip to the Cashier and hand over the slip and they will give you the cash amount on the slip. When you take the money back to the keno till you will need to let the keno machine know you have completed the keno cash in. 1. Select OPERATOR FUNCTIONS 21

VIII. Checking Game Results Patrons may the results of a particular game. For example, they may have 10 games playing and they think on the third game they may have won and would like to check. Click Game Results on the Keno Main Menu and then enter the date of the game and the game number. It will automatically print the game results showing; - The numbers - Lucky Last - Heads/Tails - Keno Bonus 1. Select Game Results 2. Enter in the date 3. Enter the Game Number 4. IX. Checking Game Statistics Patrons may also ask you to print the game statistics for them. It will print out a ticket with; - Most drawn numbers - Least drawn numbers - Most popular numbers - Least popular numbers - Current jackpot payouts - Maximum payout Computer functions: 1.
