RULES AND REGULATIONS SPORTS ACTION POINT SPREAD is governed by the Rules and Regulations Respecting Lotteries and Gaming of the British Columbia Lottery Corporation ( BCLC ) which include limitations of liability and are available from BCLC upon request. 2. DEFINED TERMS Result means the final outcome of a Sports Action Event listed on the Menu that constitutes a home win, a visitor win or a tie, including extra play, as determined by the governing body for that sport and verified by BCLC, except in the following circumstances: (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) In hockey, except playoff hockey, the outcome at the end of play including overtime but excluding shootouts; in playoff hockey, the outcome at the end of regulation excluding shootouts and overtime; in soccer, the outcome at the end of the soccer game, excluding shootouts or overtime, as the case may be; or the outcome at the end of an inning, period or portion of any Sports Action Event where BCLC determines the outcome by any method other than completion of the Sports Action Event. (c) (d) (e) BCLC Point Spread means the minimum score difference by which the visitor or home is expected to win as assigned to either the home or visitor by BCLC. A ½ point is added to BCLC s Point Spread to eliminate tie results. Menu means the active SPORTS ACTION POINT SPREAD Menu entered on BCLC s computer gaming system containing those Sports Action Events available for selection at the time of purchase. Only one (1) such Menu is active at any given time. Business Day commences on or after 4:09 a.m. and ends at 4:08 a.m. on the following calendar date. Menu Date is the date on which the Menu wagered on ends and is displayed after the Menu number. Page 1 of 6

ISSUANCE OF TICKETS To participate, a person must: (i) (ii) present or submit a completed SPORTS ACTION POINT SPREAD selection slip predicting whether after inclusion of the BCLC Point Spread differential the home or visitor will win for a minimum of two (2) up to a maximum of twelve (12) Sports Action Events selected from those Sports Action Events included on the Menu; and pay the authorized retailer or BCLC, where applicable, the required amount before the actual commencement of the earliest Sports Action Event chosen from such Menu, whereupon a ticket will be issued showing the Sports Action menu number, particulars of selections, potential payout, amount bet, control number or ticket ID number if applicable and/or other relevant information. Selections of a home win or a visitor win are to be based on the outcome of the Sports Action Events chosen after inclusion of the BCLC Point Spread differential contained in the Menu. 4. RESULTS (c) (d) Results are official one (1) hour after completion or cancellation of the Sports Action Event(s) or prior to 1:30 am Pacific Time on the day following the Sports Action Event, whichever occurs first. In the event that a ticket contains a selection(s) of a Sports Action Event(s) that has actually commenced or been completed prior to the issuance of the ticket, such selection(s) will be deemed deleted and the number of Sports Action Events selected on such ticket shall be deemed to be reduced by one (1) for each such Sports Action Event(s). If for any reason, a Sports Action Event(s) is not completed in accordance with the rules and regulations governing that sport or is not completed prior to 1:30 am Pacific Time following the event date and time or is cancelled from the Menu by BCLC, such selection(s) will be deemed deleted and the number of Sports Action Events selected shall be deemed to be reduced by one (1) for each such Sports Action Event(s); If all Sports Action Events listed on a ticket are cancelled or deleted the ticket holder is entitled to a refund. 3 (e) In baseball, a doubleheader means the same two teams play each other twice on the same day. When a doubleheader occurs, the first ball game of the doubleheader will always be the Sports Action Event, unless it is the continuation of a suspended ball game, in which event the second game the regularly scheduled one is the Sports Action Event that will always be listed on the Menu. 5. WINNING SELECTIONS Winning Selections are determined by correctly predicting the outcome of a certain number of the Sports Action Events as set forth below selected from the Menu after inclusion of the BCLC Point Spread differential contained on the Menu to the applicable Result for each Sports Action Event selected. 4 6. WINNING TICKETS Any valid ticket bearing a Winning Selection is a Winning Ticket and entitles its holder(s) to claim the prize as calculated in accordance with Section 7. Only one prize per Winning Ticket may be claimed. 7. PRIZE CLAIMS Prizes must be accepted as awarded and must be claimed within one year following the Menu Date listed on the ticket and in the manner stated on the back of the ticket, or, for PlayNow prizes, in the manner set forth in the Player Agreement. 5 9. LIMITATIONS The aggregate amount of prizes that may be won on any day on SPORTS ACTION POINT SPREAD shall be limited to five million ($5,000,000.00) dollars. If at the end of a particular day the aggregate amount of prizes that could be won, but for this provision, would exceed five million ($5,000,000.00) dollars, then the aggregate amount of prizes payable on all winning tickets for that day shall automatically be reduced, and the amount payable as a prize in respect of each winning ticket for that day shall be equal to: (i) (ii) the amount bet by such ticket, plus the amount that would have been payable as a prize before any reduction less the amount of the wager multiplied by a fraction, having as its numerator five million ($5,000,000.00) dollars, less the aggregate of all amounts bet on SPORTS ACTION POINT SPREAD for that day and, as its denominator, the aggregate amount of prizes that would have been payable on all winning tickets for that day before any reduction, less the aggregate of all amounts bet, (the Adjustment ): Amount payable after Adjustment = amount bet + ( amount payable before Adjustment less amount bet x $5,000,000 less total aggregate bet total aggregate prizes payable before Adjustment less total aggregate bet ) (c) BCLC may, at its sole discretion, deem any Sports Action Event listed on any Menu to be cancelled, and shall deem any Sports Action Event, the essential particulars of which were printed in error on any ticket or which did not occur as stated on such Menu or commenced or was completed prior to the date and time shown on such Menu, to be cancelled. If there is a discrepancy between the published Menu and BCLC s computer gaming system Menu, the latter shall prevail. Page 5 of 6

CANCELLATION OF A TICKET A person may only cancel a SPORTS ACTION POINT SPREAD ticket at the authorized retailer where such ticket was issued and provided that such ticket is cancelled on the same Business day the ticket was issued and prior to the start time of the earliest Sports Action Event chosen. Upon cancellation of a ticket, any other game selections entered on such ticket will also be cancelled. A person may not cancel a ticket purchased on PlayNow.com. (c) Cancelled tickets are void.
