WELCOME Dear Colleagues and friends of the ISDS, It is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to Cartagena, Colombia, one of the first historical colonial establishments in the New World. I also want to invite you to this historical first joint meeting of the 6th Spring Meeting of the International Society of Dermatological Surgery and The Skin Cancer Foundation. We are very excited to have chosen as our venue, the historic Sofitel Legend Hotel, a newly renovated 17th century monastery. Please make sure to experience the wonderful attractions that the city of Cartagena has to offer as one of South America s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Join your dermatology colleagues from around the world who come to the ISDS to share and learn from each other by interacting with friends and colleagues from the different surgical subspecialties of plastic, cosmetic, reconstructive, Mohs micrographic and skin cancer surgery. For those physicians who treat skin cancers there will be discussions on the up-to-date medical and surgical treatments of rare and common high-risk skin cancers. There will also be in-depth presentations of recent innovations in medical and surgical technologies for the cosmetic dermatologist and all physicians who practice aesthetic medicine and surgery.
