OWAplan is a light, highly-effective, acoustic, plaster-based system made from mineral tiles, which are covered with a fleece to preserve its excellent sound-absorption properties. Design with loadbearing function OWAplan People say that form follows function. A modern ceiling must fulfil a multitude of supporting tasks. The more casually it does so, the better. Cut-outs for daylight, lights and spotlights, access panels, ventilation, air-conditioning and fire-protection equipment, visible and hidden loudspeakers, additional acoustic screens - OWAplan leaves all options open for you to define and freely-position the functional areas as you please. Its foundation are the light, extralarge, yet highly stable OWAplan supporting tiles, together with the concealed OWA S 7 construction system both of which have been tested for strength and stability.

Aesthetics meet safety OWAplan Passages, foyers, hallways, stairways and escape routes with OWAplan you can create elegant, continuous, convincing ceiling areas from both a design and a functional perspective, which also meet the highest standards of fire protection. OWAplan is the first European ceiling kit with CE certification. As a entity made up of the ceiling and the suspended ceiling, OWAplan meets German and international fire protection standards. The result: Fire protection up to F 120 (DIN 4102) and REI 120 (DIN EN 13501-2).

Fleece for plaster coating The acoustic fleece cover makes sure that the tile retains its acoustic effect even after the plaster coating has been applied. Plaster coating The plaster coating determines the final texture of the OWAplan ceiling. White or coloured plaster is sprayed on the fleece in multiple layers to create the final smooth surface.
