To register for e-trader you must become a UK Geeral tradig parter. To do this select the register tab at the top of the scree, which will take you to a olie Agecy registratio form that you will eed to complete ad sed to UK Geeral by clickig the register butto. Your Regioal Sales Maager will be i touch withi two workig days to complete the agecy applicatio process, which will iclude cofirmig your Super User requiremets (see Super User & admi fuctioality page 23). Oce your agecy is set up, you will be set your activatio email. Already a UK Geeral Tradig Parter? If you already have a agecy with UK Geeral you may have already bee registered to trade o e-trader. If you have ot received your activatio email cotact your Regioal Sales Maager or a member of our Agecy team who ca activate your e-trader accout. e-trader user guide Chagig your password You will be set your userame ad a system-geerated password by email whe you register, however for security purposes we recommed you chage your password whe you first log oto e-trader. You ca chage your password from ay scree withi e- trader usig the chage password fuctio at the top of each page. Your ew password must be 8 characters log ad cotai at least oe capital letter ad oe umeric character. 06 05

You ca search for a cliet based o: Cliet Name Busiess Name Policy Number Quote Number Cliet Postcode Claim Referece Number Your search results will be displayed as a list ad you ca select the cliet you wish to view. Oce you have successfully selected your cliet you will see the cliet summary page where you ca access your cliet's policy iformatio. Wildcard Search Fuctio: To use the wildcard search fuctio, simply add a % symbol either side of the text you re searchig, e.g. %Smith%. This will display all cliets that have Smith i their ame. 06 07

Simply select the add cliet tab ad eter the cliet details. Note: Red asterisks deote madatory fields which must be completed to proceed to the ext stage. The cliet details will be used as the basis for ay quotes so please take care to esure these details are accurate. Oce you ve completed the cliet details, click ext ad your cliet iformatio will be saved, ready for tradig with UK Geeral. You will automatically be take to the Our Products page to select a product to quote. 08 09
e-trader user guide Obtaiig a ew-busiess quote You ca oly process a ew busiess quotatio from the cliet summary page (see page 8) or immediately after creatig a ew cliet (see page 9). To process a ew busiess quote click ew quote withi the cliet summary page, which will allow you to select from our list of e-trader products. Alteratively, oce you have created a ew cliet you will be directed straight to the Our Products page where you ca select the product you wish to quote. Oce you have selected a product you will be take to the risk capture questios. 10

The sed email butto will sed the documets to you electroically so you ca forward them oto the cliet. 11

Referred If your quote is retured as referred, you ll be give a reaso for the referral, but our uderwriters will eed to take a closer look at the risk details. If you wish to refer your quote to our uderwriters simply click refer to uderwriter. You will the be give the opportuity to add ay supportig iformatio before submittig your referral request. Oce the quote has bee reviewed by our uderwriters it will show as obtaied or declied i the cliet summary page. If further iformatio is eeded, our uderwriters will cotact you by phoe or email. 12 11

Declied Where your quote has bee declied the reaso(s) will be stated ad you will have the followig optios: Refer to Uderwriter: You may wish to provide our uderwriters with further iformatio regardig the reaso for declie that could result i the risk beig accepted. You ca do this by clickig the refer to uderwriter butto. Retur to Cliet Summary: If you do't wish to take further actio with the declied quote, selectig this butto will take you back to the cliet summary page. 12 13
e-trader user guide Quote summary The quote summary page allows you to: Amed quote: takes you to the first page of risk capture. Save quote: You will be able to retrieve quotes withi the cliet summary page. Your quote is valid for 30 days. Email: Email quote documetatio to your cliet. Add otes: Notes are visible to your brokerage ad UK Geeral oly. Refer to uderwriter: Eve if your quote has ot bee referred or declied, but you wish to tell us ay additioal iformatio you ca refer your quote to our uderwritig team. If you are happy with your quotatio, select the buy optio at the bottom of the quote summary page. 14 13

You will the be give the optio to pay via istalmets or your broker accout. Where a quote has Employers Liability cover icluded, the ELTO details page will be displayed. If a o-ern exempt cliet has it to had, they ca provide you with their Employer Referece Number, which you should eter i the relevat field. This will the be displayed o the Employers Liability Certificate. To complete the purchase, you will be take to the paymet details page where your cliet ca select to pay by istalmets or by broker accout. Note: the appropriate credit charge will be displayed uder istalmet pla. 15
e-trader user guide Acceptig a ew busiess quotes (cot.) If your cliet wishes to pay by istallmets they will eed to provide you with bak details. Clickig Add Bak Accout o the paymet by istalmets scree will allow you to add multiple accouts. Oce the bak accout details have bee saved you ca complete the purchase. Where a cliet is payig by broker accout you will be set your mothly statemet i the post. A copy will also be available to view ad dowload i the accouts tab. Your paymet terms will have bee agreed durig the agecy process. The policy summary page, like the quote summary page, allows you to view a breakdow of the premium ad the policy documetatio which ca be emailed to you directly by selectig sed email. You ca the forward this o to the cliet. 16

To amed a policy mid-term, select amed for the relevat policy o the cliet summary page. You must provide the effective date for the Mid-Term Adjustmet. You ca choose to type i the date maually or use the date picker tool. Oce you have selected ext, you will be take through each risk capture scree, eablig you to update the risk iformatio as required. 17
e-trader user guide Processig Mid-Term Adjustmets (cot.) The Mid-term Adjustmet summary page will display the breakdow i premium owed or due as a result of the adjustmet, icludig ay admiistratio fees. Note: I the evet that a Mid-Term Adjustmet eeds referrig to a uderwriter, simply follow the process of referral as you would o a ew busiess quote (see page 10) To proceed with a Mid-Term Adjustmet, click buy. The amout to be credited or debited will be automatically applied to the cliet s accout if payig by broker accout. If you choose to pay by Direct Debit, the amout will automatically be debited from your accout each moth. Note: If the mai policy is set up o istalmets, your cliet has the optio to pay for ay additioal MTA premium by istalmets or broker accout. If your cliet opts to pay the additioal premium by broker accout as a sigle paymet, their mothly istalmet pla will be uchaged. 18

e-trader user guide Cacellig a policy You ca cacel a policy quickly ad efficietly usig e-trader. Simply select cacel ext to the relevat policy o the cliet summary (see page 8). You will be asked to provide a effective date ad reaso for the cacellatio ad to cofirm that you wish to proceed with the cacellatio. 20

e-trader user guide Maagig reewals Reewal ivites are automatically geerated ad made available o e-trader prior to the reewal date. Reewals will be automatically accepted, so you do t eed to take ay actio, although we do recommed that you review reewals ad maually accept them to esure that details are up-to-date ad that cliets are happy with cover ad paymet details. If a reewal is automatically accepted, the paymet optio selected by your cliet i the previous year will carry forward. Selectig the reewals tab will allow you to view ad admiister all reewals for your office. You ca of course view these by cliet withi the cliet summary page they will appear uder reewals i progress. 22

Super User Fuctioality: The e-trader Super User fuctioality allows you to take cotrol of your office users. It allows you to add ad amed users istatly. As part of the agecy registratio process we will cofirm who your omiated Super Users are, ad provide them with access to the user admi tab. This will ot be displayed for o-super Users. The user admi fuctioality allows you to view which users are registered o e-trader withi your office, ad to add or amed these users. Oce you have cofirmed you have Super User permissios, simply click o the user admi tab to get started. You ca amed user details, ad chage profiles to Super User ad back agai as required. If you eed to restrict access for ay user, you ca make their user ID iactive. Whe a iactive user ID attempts to log ito e-trader they will be told that their accout has bee locked. 23

Simply select the umber of trades or premises from the drop dow meu as show. Where multiple premises have bee selected, additioal premises tabs will appear for each at the top of the quote page just complete the details for each. Note: if the umber of risks exceeds that available o e- trader, you ca refer the quote to our uderwritig team usig the refer to uderwriter fuctio.
