My Education. Molecular Biotechnology > What is Special About Your Studies? The Master s degree program is unique in Austria and comprises selected molecular biology topics. The latest developments in molecular biotechnology, immunology and drug discovery as well as application-oriented research play a central role in the degree program. > After a one-semester introduction phase you will choose one of two specializations: immunology or drug discovery. Other lecture courses include stem cells, human genetics/genetic testing, tumour biology, bioanalysis and molecular pathology. > You can write your master s thesis at prestigious partner research institutes in Vienna or abroad or you can participate in our own research projects in immunology or drug discovery. > You will consolidate your knowledge in various laboratory courses.
