Dear colleagues and friends, Besides being one of the most important ports of the Mediterranean and Assiterminal s headquarters city, Genova has many other assets which we thought makes it a nice location for our June 2015 General Assembly. I am very glad, on behalf of Assiterminal s members, to invite you to Genova and enjoy the program we have prepared for you. MAIN SCHEDULE SIDE EVENTS Thursday, 11 th June 2015 afternoon Side event (for accompanying persons and participants not involved in Committees meetings): guided walking tour downtown (about 2 hours) Gathering of the participants around 3 p.m. in front of the Grand Hotel Savoia Depending on the weather conditions, we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing. The guide will show you some of the most beautiful buildings in town as well as the royal residence, via Garibaldi and much more. Thursday, 11 th June 2015 evening Dinner Meeting at 6:30 pm in front of the Grand Hotel Savoia, boarding the bus will take you to visit one of the most beautiful pearl on the headland of Portofino: Camogli Dinner will be served at Restaurant Cenobio dei Dogi Return to the hotel around midnight Friday, 12 th June 2015 afternoon Side event (for those who are interested): Visit of the Aquarium of Genova which is the biggest one for biodiversity in Europe, hosting 15.000 animals of over 400 species (average duration of the visit 2hrs and 45 mins). We kindly ask you to communicate your adhesion to the side event as soon as possible. ARRIVING TO GENOVA, ITALY Coming by rail Get off at the train stop Genova Piazza Principe. No taxi is needed to get to the hotels, as they are only a short stroll away from railway station.
