Getting Started All applications should be started via one of the following Internet Browsers: In Private browsing for Internet Explorer New Incognito window for Google Chrome New private window for Firefox Using one of the above browser options, please visit: http://www.accaglobal.com/ Click on the Apply Now button on the right hand menu as per the below screenshot: The online registration process for ACCA should take you around 10 15 minutes to complete. Start by selecting ACCA Qualification as the course you are applying for and please select your country of residence from the drop down list: Click on Apply Now to proceed. Page 3 of 22
Section 1 - Account Details Here you give your personal details such as your name, date of birth, email address and a secure password of your choice. Once these details are provided you will be given a unique Reference number which you can use to monitor the progress of your application. The password that you create in this section will be used to access the myacca student portal once your online application for registration has been finalised. Please ensure that you remember your password. Your email address must be unique and not shared with anyone else. If the email address already exists on our database you can create a new address from this screen using ACCA s free email service accamail. Page 4 of 22
Section 2 - Your Application There are no details to complete in this section. You will simply see confirmation of your country of residence and the qualification that you are applying for. You should ensure you read all the information on this page before continuing with your application. At the top of the screen you will see your ACCA reference number and also the Save & Come back later button. Please ensure that you remember your ACCA reference number. Section 2 - Your Application (continued ) The following screen will appear: Your application details have now been saved. Your reference number will now have been sent to your email address. Section 4 Your Qualifications Please select your country of study from the drop down list: For those attending an ACCA Accelerate approved course at a University in Pakistan, South Africa or Zambia, please continue to follow the guide on page 9 of this guide. Section 6 Supporting Documents This section details the documents that you need to provide to ACCA in support of your application. In order to make a fully online application to ACCA, your supporting documents MUST be uploaded as part of the online registration process. For the question: How would you like to supply your supporting documents? please select Upload all documents and pay by credit/debit card. YOU MUST SELECT TO UPLOAD YOUR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS PAYMENT CAN BE SKIPPED IN SECTION 9. Digital copies of each document can be saved onto your computer and uploaded by selecting the browse button. Multiple files can be uploaded for each section. Your ACCA Accelerate letter, proof of identity and a passport sized photograph must be uploaded via the following screens. Please ensure that these files are available to upload from your computer before continuing your application. Where documents have not been issued in English an official translation must also be provided. Only.JPG,.JPEG &.PDF files should be uploaded for your passport sized photograph. Page 16 of 22
Please click Browse for each section and ensure that the relevant supporting document(s) is selected and uploaded to your application from your computer. Please ensure that your Accelerate letter has been uploaded in the Proof of minimum entry qualifications section before continuing. Please click Next at the bottom of the page. Page 17 of 22
Section 7 - Your Application Summary The summary page provides details of all information you have entered up to this stage. You can use the left hand side menu to return to a particular section if you wish to amend any of the information that you have previously entered. Before proceeding, please ensure that: The correct Accelerate code has been entered in Section 3 Your details The correct documentation has been uploaded in Section 6 Supporting Documents (including your Accelerate letter) Page 18 of 22
