They commit to respect the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in all aspects related to the organisation and management of the mobility, in particular the recognition of the credits awarded to students by the partner institution. A few lectures taught in English are offered but mainly at Master s level; they hardly exist at the Bachelor s level. The Faculty of Science requires English in addition to French and German. The Master in European Business is entirely taught in English. The Faculty of Law offers between 4 and 5 courses in English at Master s level. Additional requirements There are no general additional requirements but depending on the application of the student and the learning agreement special requirements can be asked for. The University of Fribourg can host students and staff with special needs on individual request. Please contact the International Relations Office as early as possible. E. Calendar 1. A Transcript of Records will be issued by the receiving institution no later than 5 weeks after the assessment period has finished at the receiving HEI. 4. Termination of the agreement: In the event of unilateral termination, a notice of at least one academic year has to be given. This means that a unilateral decision to discontinue the exchanges notified to the other party by 1 September 20XX will only take effect as of 1 September 20XX+1. F. Information 1. Grading systems of the institutions At the University of Fribourg 1 ECTS is equivalent to 25 to 30 hours of academic work. The ECTS measure the total work load required for a course/seminar including lectures attendance, reading, paper writing and personal work outside the courses.
