Logical disk siz = Smallst siz of th disk among th disks in th xtnsion unit x (Numb of th disks in th xtnsion unit 1) Not: Dpnding on th modl of a had disk div, th logical disk siz may b a f pcnt small than th siz sulting fom th fomula abov. Do not install this boad in oth dvics o us this boad indpndntly. Kp unusd boad in an antistatic bag. Th boad is shippd in an antistatic bag. Dischag static lcticity fom you body by touching a mtal objct such as a mtal lock bfo opning th bag to potct th boad fom static lcticity. Do not touch th pats (cicuits) on th boad. Th pats (cicuits) on th boad a vulnabl to static lcticity. Do not touch th pats on th boad dictly to pvnt th boad fom damag causd by static lcticity. Dischag static lcticity bfo touching th boad. Bfo touching th boad, dischag static lcticity fom you body by touching a mtal objct such as a mtal lock. Whn handling th boad, hold only th back nd pat (conncto sid) vn aft dischaging static lcticity. Fix th boad ith th scs fimly. Mak su that th boad is fimly fixd in Ntok Disk Rcod by tightning th fixing scs. If th boad is not fixd fimly, it may damag both th boad and th Ntok Disk Rcod. Handl ith ca. Do not stik o shak th boad, as this may caus damag. Contact a dal hn having a poblm. Tun off th po of th Ntok Disk Rcod immdiatly and unplug th po plug fom th AC outlt, and thn contact ualifid svic psonnl. 2
INSTALLATIONS 1. Unsc WJ-ND300 (2 scs fom top, 4 scs fom sids, and 5 scs fom a) and mov th top cov. 3. Connct btn th main and RAID boads ith 2 cabls that blong to th main boad. To main boad To RAID boad 4. Dtach th cabl fom th cabl clamp to unbind it, and pass th cabl though th cabl clamp as shon in th illustation blo. 2. Disconnct all of th HDD cabls. HDD cabls Hold th cabls using th cabl clamp. 3
5. Mount th RAID boad. (1) Mount th RAID boad so that th mounting hols ( to ) of th RAID boad a alignd ith th mounting hols ( to ) of th main unit (WJ- ND300) spctivly by fing th illustation. (1) Us th HDD cabl holding clamps attachd to th RAID boad to bundl to of th HDD cabls ach disconnctd in Stp 2. (2) Connct all of th HDD cabls and 3 cabls to th RAID boad. HDD cabl holding clamp Pass th HDD cabl fo HDD1 (HDD3) though th pull-ing of th cabl fo HDD2 (HDD4).
