PRESS Assuredness and discipline were the responses to Ricardo Casero who, it must be recognized, was very convincing both as conductor and as trombone soloist. The composer demands much of the soloist, requiring all of the trombone s timbre possibilities be displayed by a serious performer, one capable of overcoming difficulties. Casero, at ease and impeccable, revealed a domination of technique, a lovely sound, an unquestionable quality. Congratulations. PERIODICO DE GRANADA, SEPTEMBER 22, 2012 GRANADA CITY ORCHESTRA Ricardo Casero, a musician who knows and understands performance and who brings to the conductor s lectern not only an extensive background but also the intuition afforded to him by an intense and extensive career. Ricardo Casero s conducting was dynamic and clear, designing in each work a perfectly coherent discourse with richly colored brushstrokes sifted from a repertoire that lends itself to such interpretation GRANADA HOY, SEPTEMBER 23-2012, GRANADA CITY ORCHESTRA RICARDO CASERO GARRIGUES Principal Conductor Master Chamber Orchestra Principal Conductor Talia Theater Artistic director.
