Registering the Digital Signature Certificate for Bank Officials Overview When Bank officials login to the MCA21 application for the first time, they need to register their Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). This document contains steps for: 1. Registering the DSC for Bank Officials at First Time Login 2. Login into the MCA21 application with DSC after Registration Registering the DSC for Bank Officials at First Time Login The steps for registering a DSC that a bank official needs to follow at first time login to the MCA21 application are given below: 1. Type the URL http://www.mca.gov.in/mca21 in the Internet Explorer. 2. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs Home page is displayed. Click the MCA21 logo. 3. The MCA21 application home page is displayed. Click the Login button. 4. Type the user id in the User ID text box. 5. Type the password in the Password text box. 6. Select the Bank Official option in the Category drop-down list. 7. 11. A warning message box with message to download a Java applet is displayed. Click the Run with the latest version button. Note: Refer the Appendix section for Java settings. 12. The Select Signer Certificate dialogue box appears that displays the certificates installed in the computer. Select the correct certificate and click the OK button. 13. The Signing data with your private key dialogue box appears. Type the password in the Password for: text box. 14. Click the OK button to continue. Type the URL http://www.mca.gov.in/mca21 in the Internet Explorer. 2. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs Home page is displayed. Click the MCA21 logo. 3. The MCA21 application home page is displayed. Click the Login button. 4. Type the user id in the User ID text box. 5. Type the password in the Password text box. 6. Select the Bank Official option in the Category drop-down list. 7. You will be successfully logged into MCA application. Note: If you face problems even after following the steps mentioned, then you need to raise a ticket. Ticket can be raised by clicking the User Complaints and Grievances link from the www.mca.gov.in/mca21. Please access the MCA21 application http://www.mca.gov.in/mca21/ and click on the User Complaints & Grievances link. Appendix To ensure that you are able to use the Digital Certificate functionality, you need to follow the steps listed as following: 1. Ensure the OS platform of your computer is WIN XP (SP3), Windows 7, Windows 8 or Vista. 2. Download Java Version 6u30. To do so click the URL -> http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html#jre-6u30-oth-jpr. The following screen will be displayed. 3. 4. Select the Download for file Windows x86 Online. 5. You will be prompted to enter a valid Username and Password of an Oracle Web Account. Create a new account using the Sign Up facility. Once the user account is created, you will receive an email at the email id specified during account creation. The email will contain an account verification link.
