However, until now, small and mid-sized businesses have been encouraged to decide purely between on-premise IT or remotely hosted cloud services. In addition, the significant investment Microsoft has made in evolving the Office 365 productivity suite has naturally led more and more companies to select this as their first public cloud based business application suite. However, many users of Office 365 need to retain control and management of their users, data, and resources, driven by internet connectivity constraints, regulation, legacy requirements or company policy. They want to manage how their business accesses IT assets, no matter where the employees may be based. Introducing the O365Connect cloud managed server appliance from Zynstra: Zynstra s O365Connect is designed for the smaller business that wants to adopt a cloud-first approach. O365Connect is a complete and highly efficient IT solution designed to enable end users to access and operate Microsoft s Office 365 productivity suite whilst maintaining complete control over their user credentials, access to their LAN resources, and assuring the protection of their data.

O365Connect Benefits The O365Connect solution provides your business with a central platform for managing your organisation s credentials including Single Sign On access to the Office 365 suite (via Active Directory) as well as all local print and file management requirements. In addition, Zynstra O365Connect automatically creates data storage snapshots of the locally held files and maintains an on-site copy of all Microsoft Office 365 stored files as standard, providing complete reassurance that all business critical data remains accessible and under direct control. Locally stored files can be optionally backed up into Microsoft Azure for further peace of mind by providing a full Business Continuity capability in the event of the loss of your site or equipment. Whilst the O365Connect is a physical appliance built upon HP s market leading ProLiant server range, it is delivered as a managed service, in a highly automated, efficient and secure service wrapper for a monthly fee without any upfront capital cost. O365Connect Features and Functionality The Zynstra O365Connect includes: A single HP ProLiant tower server (ML10, ML310e, ML350e) including 9x5 next business day break/fix support. Single Sign On to Office 365 (and other services via the locally run Active Directory service.) Local File and Print services. The Zynstra service including Keep Current Management Service for patching and maintaining the Appliance and the security infrastructure for protecting the Appliance and users who access the Internet via the Appliance. Backup of local data that depends upon the model purchased (e.g. 100GB/250G- B/500GB/750GB) in alignment to the data archived to Microsoft Azure. (Note: this is additional to the backup of Office 365 files back to the local Appliance.) Backup of email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other files stored in Office 365 s SharePoint Online service onto the local server. The capacity of this backup mirrors the baseline Model chosen (100GB/250GB/500GB/750GB) and is completely separate to the backup of data to Azure. 24/7 Service Monitoring and 3rd line technical break/fix service (in addition to your resellers Support Agreement). The O365Connect subscription service is available on a one or three year contract basis. All Zynstra solutions are delivered under a set of public commitments to transparency and service which can be provided on request. Note: Microsoft s Office 365 solution is licensed separately.
