8 Dr. Stuart Gulley serves as the twenty-fourth President of LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia. An ordained United Methodist minister, Dr. Gulley has served as President of LaGrange College since July 1, 1996. He received his undergraduate training at Vanderbilt University, his Master of Divinity degree from Emory University, and his Ph.D. in Higher Education from Georgia State University. Prior to joining LaGrange College, Dr. Gulley served for ten years in several administrative capacities at Emory University, including the position of Associate Vice President for University Development and Church Relations, which he held at the time of his election as President of LaGrange College. His research interests include the moral dimensions of leadership. His latest work, published by Mercer University Press, is titled: The Academic President as Moral Leader: James T.
