PRESS RELEASE FOR RELEASE ON 30 TH NOVEMBER 2012 THE COMPLIANCE REGISTER is pleased to announce the winners of THE COMPLIANCE REGISTER PLATINUM AWARDS 2012 at a star-studded gala evening and cabaret on 29 th November at The Lancaster London. In attendance were many celebrities such as Paul Daniels, Julie Rogers, Tony Hatch, DJ Mike Read and Gloria Hunniford who generously lent their support to help raise funds for various charities. Just after dinner, the audience all stood up and sang Massachusetts as a tribute to the late Robin Gibb. The DJ Mike Read lent his support to Ben Goh s tribute. Robin Gibb s talent had enriched so many lives and that it was the human thing to do to pay tribute to such talent. The other highlight of the evening was a surprise impromptu performance of Down Town by the legendary composer Tony Hatch. After the Awards ceremony, the audience was royally entertained by Kevin Orkian s comedy act and enthralled by Paul Daniel s magic act. The evening ended with everyone dancing to the best live ABBA band, Platinum ABBA.
