3 Introduction The purpose of this publication is to provide a reader-friendly listing of programs and services available to Gwinnett County senior adults and to their families. While efforts have been made to include only programs and services that appear in good standing with Gwinnett County, potential recipients of any service should carefully examine those agencies or organizations that provide services, before making a commitment. To report an incident of misconduct concerning a nursing home or personal care/assisted living facility, contact the State Ombudsman Program (page 5). For organizations that protect against misconduct in other areas, see Consumer Safety & Fraud (page 16). Listings do not constitute any kind of endorsement of a Gwinnett County service or program. This directory is a best effort to provide resource referrals for seniors in Gwinnett County but may not be a comprehensive listing as such. Please note that information included in this directory may become outdated or obsolete and that new resources and information may come along during the tenure of this publication. To help us revise these materials for future issues, please report errors and/or omissions on the Revision Form (page 49) and return to the address listed on the form.
