6 Overall Process Flow Registration of Training Organisation Registration of Company Registration Submission for Course Pre-Approval by Training Organisation Course-Pre-Approval Grant Application by Company for Pre-Approved Course Grant Application (Full-Fee Mode) Claim of Grant by Company upon course completion Grant Claim Note: Organisations conducting in-house courses will need to perform roles of both Training Organisation and Company Courses must be on full-fee mode 6

7 Registration of Profiles Company Use to register as a user Registration Training Organisation Use to register as a user: - WSQ TO - Non-WSQ TO System Work item routed to WDA for approval Upon WDA s approval, organisation s administrator will be able to further edit or reassign different access rights to authorised staff 7

8 Submission of Course for Pre-Approval of Funding Course Pre- Approval Training Organisation (TO) Submit course information for courses for evaluation and preapproval by WDA System Work item routed to WDA for processing Upon WDA s approval, Training Organisation can make further edits. Major edits e.g. training hours will need to be approved by WDA for funding Note: For ITE Traineeship courses, ATC should indicate (ITE-ATC Traineeship) in course title so that WDA funds the correct number of hours. Course must be submitted before class commencement Courses must be on full-fee mode 8

9 Submission of Course for Pre-Approval of Funding For standardisation and ease of administration and cashflow. Course conducted by Course segregation in Reason ITE 6-monthly basis ITE s course structure and schedule are fixed. ATC Modular basis To cater for possibility of ATCs conducting different modules and in different sequence for different trainees 9

10 Submission of Course for Pre-Approval of Funding ATCs should: submit courses on modular basis i.e. each module separately include (ITE-ATC Traineeship) in title For example: Nitec in Pastry & Baking Submit one module at a time: Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations (ITE-ATC Traineeship) Cake Mixing and Baking Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations (ITE-ATC Traineeship) Customer Service Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations (ITE-ATC Traineeship) Bread Production etc. Note: Courses conducted by ITE itself are broken into fixed 6-month segments For example: Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations (24 months) will appear as 4 course segments by ITE in : Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations (ITE Traineeship) Part 1 of 4 Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations (ITE Traineeship) Part 2 of 4 Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations (ITE Traineeship) Part 3 of 4 Nitec in Food & Beverage Operations (ITE Traineeship) Part 4 of 4 10

11 Training Grant Application Grant Application Company Log in to search for approved courses and make training grant application Full Fee Courses System Work item routed to WDA for processing Note: Companies have to submit application for each module separately Applications to be submitted no earlier than 180 days from module start date and no later than 30 days from module start date Courses must be on full-fee mode 11

12 Grant Claim Grant Claim Company (Full-Fee Course) Log in to search for approved application and submit claim for grant Full-Fee System Work item routed to WDA for processing Full-Fee System Upon approval, grant paid to company Note: Companies have to submit claim for each module separately Claims to be submitted within 90 days from module end date Courses must be on full-fee mode 12
