3 Arrival and departure information The apratment is avaible from 4 p.m. and should be vacated at 9 a.m. on the day of departure. If you arrive after 5.30 p.m., please let us know by calling +41 (0) Outside office hours you will find the apartment-key in an envelope in the mailbox, in the entrance of our office. When the apartment is ready for occupancy, you will receive the apartment keys for a deposit of CHF 100. 4 Arrival Car-free destination Riederalp is a family friendly, car-free summer and winter holiday resort in Oberwallis, situated on a sunny high plateau surrounded by park-like countryside at nearly 2000 meters above sea level. It can only be reached ny cablecar. Parking is available in Mörel. Upon request, and if available, we can reserve a parking box in Mörel. Arrival by train By train from Bern or Geneva to Brig Change to the Railway Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn to Morel. 3 minutes walk to the cable car station Aletsch Riederalp. The large cablecars go via Greich to Riederalpmitte. With the 6 smaller gondola from Ried-Morel Morel to Riederalp. You pack your suitcases and we do the rest, with our new door-to-door luggage service for Switzerland. Why not make use of it? Let us take the strain - literally - when you set off on your holidays. More information: Lötschberg Autoverlad Simplon Autoverlad Furka Autoverlad 3. Arrival by car On the A9 from Lausanne to Brig, on the A6 from Bern to Kandersteg. The car train will take you from Kandersteg to the other side of the Lötschberg to Goppenstein in only 15 minutes the shortest way from the Bernese Oberland to the Valais. 5 Extras for your arrival: Return tickets for adults and children (Reservation required 4 weeks in advance) Please us the large cablecar to Riederalp Mitte Motorway sticker for the Swiss motorways (Reservation required 4 weeks in advance) The sticker is only valid if glued onto the windscreen of the car. Return tickets for the motorail train Goppenstein Kandersteg (Reservation required 4 weeks in advance) The tickets have the advantage of not having to line up at the ticket-office of the cartrain. A special entrance for card-holders is signalled on the left. Validate one ticket for one ride at the ticket machine. The tickets can be ordered on our website. 6 Additional offers: Luggage Tickets for a luggage trolley for the cable car (Reservation required 4 weeks in advance) Luggage trolleys are available on every floor of the parking garage. Present your tickets to the ticket inspector, he will load the trolley(s) into the cable car. Return tickets for a luggage trolley cost CHF and single tickets CHF Luggage up to 25 kg can be transported by yourself A taxi for your luggage on the Riederalp Between o`clock, we offer you our own low budget taxi service. Please call us, or reserve directly in our office upon arrival on the Riederalp. Give the taxi driver one voucher per ride. Please inform us of your expected time of departure on Thursday or the day before your departure at the latest, so that we can arrange a taxi for you.

7 Additional offer: Parkbox Would you like to order an additional offer? Call us at: +41 (0) or send us an Car park box in the parking garage near the cable car in Mörel (Reservation required 4 weeks in advance) Before you drive into the parking garage you can pick up the garage keys at the cash desk of the cable car. Simply mention the name of Aletsch Servi ce Ltd. and your own Name. You will receive a case containing a magnetic stripe card to open the barriers of the garage and the keys of the park box (Number 32, 42 or 49) Please keep the case with contents in your possession during your holiday. At the day of departure, after getting your car, please return the case with contents to the cash desk of the cable car in Mörel. (11.00 am at the latest!). The park box is on the 3rd floor.

8 Additional offer: shopping service Enjoy your stay on the Riederalp from the first minute. Let us do your first grocery shopping. The purchase will be delivered to your apartment and deducted from the final invoice. You need to order 5 days before arrival. Delivery charge of CHF per purchase. 9 Aletsch Arena for travelling Explore the Aletsch Arena with our WebApp. You can find many excursion tips, hiking suggestions, sightseeing tips, restaurants, etc., and in winter the daily updated wintersport report. Download the QR code of the WebApp with all information about Aletsch Arena on your smartphone or use the URL m.aletsch-service.ch How it works: Load QR code scanner on your phone. These can be found in the PlayStore (Android) or iphone App Store. Open Application, Scan QR Code with your mobile phone and get the mobile Version of Aletsch Service. 10 We protect the environment Environmental Protection Protecting the environment is important to us. Through the use of electric vehicles and trucks with low environmental impact, we conserve resources and avoid noise. We use only environmentally friendly cleaning products. Support us by an economical use of water, heating and electrical energy. You help the environment and also reduce costs. Rubbish tip Disposal of rubbish is only permitted in official charge-bags. Your apartment is equipped with one bag per week. Glass, cardboard and plastic bottles are collected separately and can be dispensed nearby the cablecar station. Please dispose of your rubbish on the day of departure at the latest.
