2 Supersign Enterprise Digital signage is a form of providing advertorial, promotional content and messages displayed on a digital display or a plasma TV to persuade potential customers to purchase or to consume that particular brand. DS enables to create an impulse purchase, so that the consumer sees the presentation and then immediately buys the product through the advertised telephone number, shop or website. Products and their features are described, displayed and often demonstrated in an eyecatching manner. Digital signage offers superior return on investment compared to traditional advertisement tools. which is a big plus over modification to the physical signs. Digital Signage enables to manipulate the content in flexible layouts by a user friendly web interface. Playlists can be managed without interrupting current streaming. Online bulletin boards, emergency broadcast systems, campus TV networks, Hotels are just a few applications. For example a Hotel can purchase multiple player licenses so that digital signs in different locations can feature varied content. For example, if content playing on screens in restaurant area differs than the type of information that may be created for the front desk, these two locations would require separate software licenses. By increasing the number of licenses, hotels can ensure the content on its screens is more useful and targeted to viewers. Supersign Enterprise DIGITAL SIGNAGE Supersign Enterprise Digital Signage is a specialized software that allows administrators to easily create and manage content. Supersign Enterprise typically consists of three modules: a designer, a content manager, and a media player. Designer allows an administrator to create a template for the company network. This can be a blank template in which to place information, or it can consist of multiple frames so different gadgets can have a specific area for its news, which can be updated in real-time. Once information is entered, the content management software takes over. Content Manager is a web-based application that schedules and manages the multimedia content submitted by administrators. It is the brain of a digital signage network. It can manage digital signs on a network, and the software supports plan-based content distribution, timetables, playlists and templates created with the Designer. 3 The players run continuously and update the content on digital signage displays based on the text graphic, sound and video transmitted by content manager. Supersign Enterprise Player Supersign Enterprise Player provides multimedia content playback for environments such as retail, entertainment, government, finance, and education. Users can create content using Designer, and distribute it to Supersign Enterprise Player using Content Manager. The Supersign Enterprise Player will continuously run and update the content on dynamic signage displays according to scenario assigned in Content Manager. Plasmas, TVs, kiosks, text, graphics, sound, and video can be dynamically scheduled and customized at each Supersign Enterprise Player location. Supersign Enterprise Player Key Features Playback Supersign Enterprise Player provides content publishing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Reporting Agent for Billing Supersign Enterprise Player communicates with Content Manager and logs events for ad billing or other reporting. Reporting Agent for STB Status Supersign Enterprise Player checks status of STBs and alert if any malfunction occurs. Schedules Define and edit playlist time intervals with a simple graphical view. With variable repeat patterns and start/end dates. Volume On-Off Volume can be turned on and off remotely when necessary. Display On-Off Displays can be turned on and off remotely for energy saving. Remote STB reboot To maintain reliability and ensure uptime continuity, STB s in the digital signage network can be rebooted remotely. Alert Supersign Enterprise Digital Signage product can automatically generate enhanced alert management and details for all connected devices Publish Your Work When complete, publish your content to Supersign Enterprise Content Manager where it is scheduled and distributed to Players. Provisioning When the STBs are first connected to the system, they are provisioned to be operational in Supersign Enterprise Digital Signage system. 7 When information is entered at frontdesk, data such as Meeting/Banquet Rooms, Hall number/name is automatically received from the PMS and sent over to STB s and scheduling is updated automatically and shown on displays.
