9 BYOD becoming CYOD Unscientific survey across our client base suggests less than 10% of staff want it But they are usually the influential and vocal 10%! We believe BYOD desire is generally driven by the lack of choice most organisations provide Goes against best practice, but we re talking emotions here CYOD allows you to control what is deployed With BYOD or CYOD best advice we have: 1) Separate the service from the device wherever possible 2) Make your user community understand that most corporate apps aren t (yet) designed for touch 3) Implement or contract for multi-vendor/os MDM

22 Fordway IaaS evolution Currently 1 service, 5 standard instance sizes, 3 resilience levels and variety of options Will become 3 variations, planned availability by October and will be in G- Cloud 6: Vanilla IaaS simple web facing services, Managed IaaS (or Windows Server PaaS) managed environment with backup and monitoring Secure IaaS/PaaS for regulated environments, PSN and more sensitive data New flexible billing option in development, planned before end of 2014 PaaS service planned for Windows Server, SQL Server and Sharepoint, currently being scoped
