Work involved: Overall command and control of Ghana Battalion Area of Operations. Supervised the provision of security to the borders (Blue Line) and the main entry point at the Border Crossing Point with Israel. Drafted and issued Battalion concept of operations 4

5 to sub units Issued and supervised the implementation of operational directives and instructions which included Command Policy Guidelines, administrative orders and communications instructions. Responsible for the organisation of Joint Multi-National Force training with the Lebanese Army as part of the UN mandate. Liaised and assisted the Lebanese Army to establish their authority in Lebanon and established contact with local Mocktars, Opinion Leaders and Hezbollah Faction Leaders in the area of responsibility after the 2006 war in Lebanon. 6.0 LECTURES DELIVERED AT VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS Topic: Framework of Military Operations. Proposals for Constitution Review Commission (June to December 2010). Prepared proposals and papers for the Ghana Constitution Review Commission on some critical areas on the organization and roles of National Security Council and the Security and Intelligence Agencies Act for amendment. Also presented a paper on the same subject at a workshop organized by the Commission for stakeholders of the Security Sector on the 25 September Institutional Accreditation (September 2010).
