4 OUR REQUIREMENTS We are committed to building a network of professional and ethical Counsellors & Psychotherapists, so to become part of our growing community you need to:- Be a qualified Counsellor or Psychotherapist and be able to supply appropriate documentation to validate this. Be a member of a recognised professional body. Abide by the Professional Code of Ethics as set out by this professional body. Have appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance cover, and be able to supply appropriate documentation to validate this. Be in regular supervision with a suitably qualified Supervisor, meeting the requirements of your professional body. Have a practice location from where you see clients, which is an appropriate therapeutic environment with low noise pollution, cleanliness, appropriate furnishings and equipment. Keep all information about clients confidential. Any paperwork on clients should be kept in a secure unit inaccessible to the public. Be prepared to keep your online calendar of your availability up-to-date, and follow procedures around double bookings and cancellations. Adhere to the forum guidelines when engaging with other practitioner members on the members-only forum, and any other networking services provided by.
