13 New Railway Complex in Valladolid Construction of new Maintenance Facilities for Commuter and High Speed Railway Lines Valladolid, Spain Works Supervision services for the construction of the new Railway Complex in Valladolid. The scope of services included technical assistance for Signalling, Electrification, Building Utilities, Power Supply and Depots. Service Works Supervision Client INECO-TRN Joint Venture Railway Systems León - Asturias High Speed Railway Line Segment: La Robla - Pola de Lena. Pajares Bypass León and Asturias, Spain Madrid Metro Renovation of 58 Metro Stations Madrid, Spain Due to the new Regulation (RD 842/2002) regarding the periodic inspection of low voltage systems in public facilities, Madrid Metro had to renovate most of the low voltage systems in its Metro Stations. 2iT provided Detailed Design, Works Supervision and Consultancy Services for the renovation works of the low voltage systems in 58 stations of Madrid Metro. The scope of works was to replace those systems which were not meeting the regulation with new equipments and materials. Service Detailed Design Works Supervision Client Madrid Metro Pajares tunnel bypass is part of the High Speed Railway Line León Asturias. The total length of the line is 49,7 km. The main objective of the project is the development of the detailed design to define safety systems (non-railway systems) for the tunnels of the Pajares Bypass. Safety systems include ventilation system, general lighting, and emergency lighting, fire detection and fire fighting, power supply, public address system, access control and systems management. 14 Marmaray Project, Commuter Railway Gebze Halkali Detailed Design for Railway Power Supply, Signalling, Communications and Data Collection Systems Istanbul, Turkey The Marmaray Commuter Rail Project consists of a new line with 2 commuter tracks, T1 and T2, which connects the European and Asian sides of Istambul crossing the Bosphorus Tunnel. The line has 41 stations and a total length of 76.3 km. The project required the upgrading of the Traction Power Supply (TPS) of the electrified railway system between Halkali and Gebze. Services provided included detailed design of railway power supply, signalling, communications and data collection systems for the rail line, depot and control centre. Additionally, RAMS assessment, system integration assistance and operation manual design services were also provided. Service Detailed Design Client Eptisa Mitre and Sarmiento Suburban Lines New Electrification System Buenos Aires, Argentina UGOMS awarded 2iT with the Consultancy Service for the design of the new 800 Vcc traction line and the 20 kvca power supply line, due to the implementation of the new rolling stock lines in Mitre and Sarmiento. Service Consultancy Client UGOMS Railway Systems Madrid - Seville High Speed Railway Line Detailed Design for the upgrading of railway systems Getafe Pinto segment. Madrid, Spain The construction of a new bypass to the the existing Madrid Seville line (Getafe - Pinto segment) required the upgrading of railway systems, so as to increase its capacity on Madrid access sections. The new AC 1x25 kv/50 Hz catenary was designed with independent posts according to the existing one, so as to maintain Madrid Seville line in operation during its installation. The confluence of the new lines with the existing one also required the upgrading of the new communication and signaling systems, so as to allow a safe increase of the capacity in the section. Service Driving Service Rolling Stock Tests Staff Training Client Andalucian Railways Malaga Metro Commissioning Jaen Tram System Commissioning and Complementary Services Jaen, Spain Seville Metro Operation and Maintenance Supervision for Line 1 Seville, Spain Line 1 of the Seville Metro is an urban railway with similar characteristics to light rails. The design is 18 km long, a double-track with international gauge and 750 V power supply. The most modern railway systems were applied for its operation and maintenance. The rolling stock is an autonomous, bidirectional and articulated metro with 5 low-floor cars. Its total length is 31 meters and it catches up to 70 km/h. It has a total of 202 passenger sits. Service Works Supervision Client Seville Metro The design of the Jaen Tram System is 4560 m long and it has 10 stations which give service to the town center, the railway station, residential areas, the university, schools, the hospital and industrial areas. The design is practically a straight line, there are slight curves (30 m approximately) only in the railway station area, which are remarkable due to the limitations they bring to the facilities and due to their operation. 17 Jaen Tram Design and Utilities for Operations and Maintenance Facilities Jaen, Spain Detailed Design for the overhead line systems and the railway operations and maintenance facilities of the Jaén Tram, including consultancy services during installation. Service Detailed Design Consultancy Client Andalucian Railways Rolling Stock South Train of Tenerife Design of Depots and Maintenance Facilities Tenerife, Spain Detailed Design for the Operations and Maintenance Facilities of the South Train of Tenerife. The scope of the project includes electrification, signalling and communications, utilities (power supply, lighting, compressed air system, fire detection and fire fighting, ventilation, air conditioning, access control and CCTV), maintenance utilities and auxiliary systems. Renfe Commuter Lines in Sant Andreu Comtal Design and Utilities for Maintenance Facilities Barcelona, Spain The workshop consists of a single unit intended for rolling stock maintenance tasks for commuter and medium distance trains. The facility was designed taking into account the operations carried out by that time, improving systems and providing the appropriate utilities for a better operation. The new design offers a flexible solution for the facility operation, considering future extensions. 18 Mitre and Sarmiento Lines Commissioning and Integration Tests for Toshiba Trains Buenos Aires, Argentina Consultancy services for the preparation of the protocols required for the commissioning of trains which were out of service for long periods of time or affected by incidents or safety problems. 2iT checked 15 Toshiba trains belonging to the Mitre and Sarmiento Lines. Service Consultancy Client UGOMS Zaragoza Tram Consultancy Services for the Operations and Maintenance Facilities Zaragoza, Spain Consultancy services for the commissioning of railway systems, rolling stock, operation facilities and auxiliary utilities for the maintenance of the Zaragoza Tram. The scope of the project included design supervision, coordination and review of technical proposals to meet the criteria established in the operation regulation of the metropolitan railway line. Service Consultancy Client Tranvía Zaragoza Rolling Stock Seville Metro Supply of Urbos 3 Trains Seville, Spain The scope of the project is the supply of four Urbos 3 Trains for the Seville Metro, after being adapted to the requirements and the equipment typical of the Line 1 operation. Since these trains have been working for another user, they might suffer damages which should be repaired. 2iT provided consultancy services for a first survey to determine their condition.
