The required cable is inserted using laying techniques, which allow it to finish where it connects with the relevant facilities. Completion documentation based on GPS data received locally is dealt with in the required standard mark in our own documentation department. Both conventional and automated copper splicing technology in the copper cable sector and automated fusion splice technology in the fibre optic cable sector are used, in order to install the cable in the right enclosures or terminals. The necessary shimming and measuring work for copper cable and the final measurements for fibre optic cables are carried out afterwards.
