3 The Vibe Recording Institute Are you ready to learn the ins and outs of modern audio recording? The Vibe Recording Institute teaches students the art of modern recording, utilizing industry standard equipment, software and techniques. Modern Recording Arts is a program designed to teach the art of recording audio, from the ground up, with real world applications in mind. In six months, students will learn how to record, edit, and mix audio like the pros, using industry standard equipment and software. Class sizes are limited to 5 students, which provide an intimate and effective learning environment. The Institute focuses on real world applications utilized in professional recording studios all around the world. Achieving this foundation will give students the skills they need to achieve their personal goals in audio. No prior audio knowledge is required for this program, as the instructors will start with the basics of audio, and gradually work the class into the complex and artistic art of finishing a project, via mixing and mastering. Whether your aspiration is to become a professional audio engineer or a master of home recording, the Vibe Recording Institute will teach you the skills you need to succeed! 1
4 Introduction: The Audio industry is always in a state of change due to advances in technology, social trends, and economic factors. The challenge of an audio engineer is to stay on top of these changes and maintain a specialized skill set, allowing them to flourish with a variety of different audio projects. The Modern Arts Recording Program teaches this skill set gradually, over four sections, with a mixture of theory and hands on applications. Students also have the opportunity to sit in on actual recording sessions in order to see the real world application of their training. 5 Administration: The Vibe Recording Institute s two administrators, Chad Zuchegno (chief) and Charlie Lukes, control all of the schools academic policies and decisions.
