Global industry requires from Universities: engineers and managers for the global economy Concerns especially Industrial Management that deals with management of the globalized business itself. -> we need new ways of international collaboration in research and teaching between companies and universities on a global scale possibilities of global project-based teaching? 7 Virtual process simulation for teaching and research on global networks Can we extend the face-to-face process simulation to global networks? teaching in a web-cast mode virtual teams of students from several universities, and from internationally networked companies analyze and solve real life networked business process problems, and thereby learn in a highly efficient way. Second life applications? Generic process simulations (games) for teaching Excellent platform also for international research projects!
