All construction work is performed by contract (using more RFP s). Contract procurement decisions are made on a case-by-case basis considering project scope, schedule, and complexity/pasb. 9

33 Environmental Remediation FY11 Opportunities Multi Environmental Government Acquisition (MEGA): MEGA is a joint acquisition strategy with multiple USACE Districts. Omaha has performed Market Research and conducted a Jan 11, 2010 Industry Day Forum Acquisition Strategy has been approved by the PARC, HQUSACE Small Business Office and verbally approved by DASA(P). The MEGA acquisition strategy includes multiple combinations of Unrestricted and Small Business ERS, A-E, Pre-Placed Remedial Action (PRAC) and Environmental Consultation Services contracts that are national and/or regional. Acquisition Strategy will require approval of PARC, HQUSACE, Department of Army (DA) and Department of Defense (DOD). Current schedule is for the Acquisition Plan approval by December 30, Cost Range: Multi-Billion Proposed Award: FY11 33
