Associated Youth Services of Peel Phone: Fax: Website: Traders Blvd. E, Suite 100 Mississauga ON, L4Z 3K7 Serves residents of Peel Region DBT Program provides therapeutic services to youth aged years residing in Peel who have experienced suicidal thoughts, actions and/or self-harming behavior as well as quality of life-interfering behaviors and interpersonal issues o DBT treatment ranges from 6-12 months and includes weekly individual therapy sessions, skills training group, phone coaching and family counseling o Inclusion criteria youth who experience several of the following: life threatening behaviors, quality of life interfering behaviors, recurrent suicidal thoughts or attempts, difficulty in interpersonal relationships, frequent mood swings, intense fear of abandonment, confusion about self, family conflict Transitional Aged Youth Outreach Program case management and counseling program for youth aged 16 to 18 years residing in Peel who are experiencing on-going mental health challenges and are transitioning into adult services o Offers a community based service providing a consistent level of support to youth throughout the transition Youth Beyond Barriers Program provides confidential services for youth aged 12 to 18 years residing in Peel who identify as LGBT through a support/education group and individual counseling o Support can also be provided for parents/caregivers of the youth Tangerine Walk In Counseling walk-in counseling provided, in partnership, by Associated Youth Services of Peel, Peel Children s Centre and Rapport Youth & Family Services ( o Each partner delivers the service on a different day from Tuesday - Thursday o Tangerine Walk-in Counseling is available free of charge to children and youth under the age of 18 in Peel Region, as well as their parents or caregivers o Associated Youth Services of Peel offers Tangerine Walk In Counseling on Tuesdays from 9AM to 8PM Associated Youth Services of Peel also offers family programs, justice programs and group programs 2.
