15 SEES Fellows NSF Create the workforce to address the challenges of environmental, energy and societal sustainability. Must cross traditional disciplinary boundaries and address issues of sustainability through a systems approach. Must propose research that is in the broadly defined area of sustainability sciences, beyond the applicant's current area of core expertise. Potential NSF SEES Fellow must have received his or her doctorate within four years of the application deadline. Potential NSF SEES Fellows must be US citizens (or naturalized) 15
