1 When you move photos from one computer to another, it s a good idea to ensure all of the about the photos moves too. Keeping the metadata with the photos lets you search photos consistently across computers. Camera settings, attributes and other types of metadata (e.g. keywords, captions) can be stored in the photo itself, and in the.
