4 Asigra Cloud Backup includes a comprehensive snapshot capability that allows you to use efficient hardware-based approaches for protecting large data sets. Leveraging the snapshot APIs of NetApp, you can obtain a point-in-time copy of the storage hardware. For homogeneous NetApp environments, Asigra Cloud Backup allows for rapid data protection by performing a hardware-based copy of the data from the primary NetApp storage to a secondary NetApp device at either the same or a geographically different location. You can benefit from the complimentary Snapshot Manager interface for scheduling, cataloguing, and managing such snapshots.
